Only the best steak seasoning on earth
My family was introduced to Spade L when I was a child in Idaho. Once we found it, we never used anything else. We can’t. Nothing else compares. It’s the perfect amount of sweet and salty with a kick of heat.When I grew up and married, my husband from Arkansas had his own ideas of what a steak seasoning should be. Making me try Dale’s and others… until I made him to Spade L. And now HE won’t let anything else in the house… and when we moved to a state where it wasn’t offered in their stores… we searched for others. We really did. Trying several local and classic steak seasoning blends. Ruined a few good ribeyes in the process. But there really is nothing that comes close… so we searched all over for someone that sells it. Amazon it is. If I have to buy it here the rest of my life I will. And if Amazon one day discontinues it, I’ll pay double the price if that’s what it takes on another site.Try it… you won’t regret it.

A terrific marinade and a new way to enjoy cooking your steaks
I’ve used Montreal steak seasoning exclusively for years and love it. Recently, while at a friend’s for dinner, he grilled steaks and I was amazed by the flavor. I immediately asked what he was using and he showed me his Spade L Ranch seasoning. Not only that, he gave me a jar to take home! After quickly using the gift jar up, I ordered off Amazon and use it every time I make steak. It’s a bit damp in the jar and you have to dig it out of the narrow necked jar, which is worth the effort.I confess, I’m still a big fan of Montreal, which offers a different flavor and a bit of a pleasant crunch to a grilled steak. Solution? I put the Spade L on first and rub it into the meat, then sprinkle a bit of Montreal on top. Love the end result!By the way, I recently read about a different way to grill steaks and I’m sold. I preheat our convection oven at 280 degrees, while at the same time I sear each side of the steak for 90 seconds on our cooktop. Then I transfer the steak onto a piece of aluminum foil with the edges folded up so the juice doesn’t run off. Put it into our convection oven for 15-18 minutes, depending on thickness. Pull it out, fold the foil all the way over the steak and let it sit and finish cooking for 5 minutes. Then pour the juice trapped by the foil and serve. My wife was blown away the first time I served it. You’ve retained all the flavor from the seasoning and the steak will be very, very tender.
