The best portable desktop PC
I've been using Atomman G7 PT intensely for two months and I have to admit: it's beyond my expectations. The processor is impressively fast inside this machine. The GPU is middle range, but it is good enough for any game in FullHD resolution. In real live situations both CPU and GPU work at maximum efficiency due to incredibly designed cooling system. The cooling makes all the difference here. After BIOS update it is possible now to manually set the fans speed. After some minor adjustments to I made this desktop completely silent. In light and moderate stress the CPU stays around 50 degrees, and only games with highest settings turn the fans a bit louder. And even than it is very reasonable. It's wonderful comparing to a gaming laptop, which turns into a vacuum cleaner when you try to play a more demanding game. The barebone version of G7 needs memory and SSD installed. I found no problems here. Windows 11 had no problems with finding drivers either. All works fine since, no strange errors, no unexpected behavior. Rock solid, so far.I used a gaming laptop for my stationary work and Atomman makes much more sense here. It has plenty of ports, easily replaceable RAM and SSD, really fast CPU and it due to an incredibly efficient cooling system it keeps it silent. Why not a regular desktop? Well, it is just huge comparing to Atomman G7 PT.Could I take the Atomman with me to an airplane as a hand luggage? Easily! With some room to spare for a mouse, keyboard and a portable monitor. Try that with your regular desktop!Considering the price, it is fantastic deal. You get a lot for your money here. Atomman G7 is perfect for anyone who does some heavy work, works stationary, but also changes the work places every now and then.

The mini-PC that earned a spot on my desk
This thing definitely got a premium feel. And to be honest, I bought it after watching a video reviews and that touchscreen display at the front is something I really wanted, and it was the main reason I bought it. The display actually monitors the CPU and GPU temps, shows the speed and it can be turned to show the clock, so not much beyond the aesthetic and monitoring use – but I love it. The aluminium build is solid and it’s not something you'd want to hide away – looks fantastic on the desk. It’s got a bunch of ports (usb-a, usb-c, hdmi, DP and even dual 5G Lan. Under the hood, it’s packing an Intel core ultra 9 185H, which is one of those newer Meteor Lake chips. It's powerful and more than most people probably need for casual office stuff, but it handles well whatever I threw at it very well, even things like video editing in Adobe Premiere goes smooth. In terms of performance, it's a little ‘beast’ for multitasking and demanding applications. For things like content creation or office work (as I can open hundred spreadsheets and docs in Microsoft Office package and this thing won’t slow down or hang up. So for me it’s a top notch PC I always wanted. It has Intel ARC gpu, which is okay for some light gaming, but obviously I had to tweak the settings a bit to have a nice fps on my 2k monitor. It will play games with medium-low settings, giving that 60-90fps on 2k monitor and flying through emulations of the classic game consoles if someone is into it. But here’s the thing - if you are into gaming there’s an option to plug external gpu via the OCulink. It's one of the standout features here. It doesn’t have Thunderbolt (which some people might miss) - but OCulink is focused on raw speed and it basically eats Thunderbolt in terms of speed, considering you get the compatible gpu for this (for example NVIDIA RTX 4060 with OCulink or something similar). Still, on its own it without external gpu it handles any older titles very well, but for newest AAA games, you'll have to lower the settings to get smooth gameplay (talking Starfield or Cyberpunk, etc). The cooling system does a good job of keeping it quiet, even under load and I appreciate it. It also boasts Wi-Fi 7 but I do not plan to upgrade my router just yet – and most of us don't have routers that support that yet, but its future-ready.It's definitely not the cheapest mini-PC out there. You can find cheaper options with similar performance, especially with AMD Ryzen processors - but for me its not the point here – I wanted something decent looking on my desk, quiet, with enough power to do photo processing and basic video editing and this PC ticks all the boxes. It’s on a bit expensive side but I do not regret spending money on it. So considering the design, performance and features, but also the price, I’d give this Atomman X7 Ti a 4.8 out of 5 stars. I hope this helps.
