I haven't done a spirit infusion before so this was a fun experiment for me. It has everything you need to cleanly try out. It includes a nice booklet on recommended amounts to get you started with the infusion but I found I like to put in a little bit more than they recommend. The nice thing is you can keep experimenting you just have to give it enough time to infuse.

Even though my bartending days are long behind me, I still appreciate making a nice quality cocktail. There's a huge difference when good ingredients are put into a craft cocktail instead of using pre-made flavored liqueur or mixing grocery-store bought juices. I really like the individual packaging of the freeze dried blends, and the instructions are easy to follow. I will admit that some patience is needed in making these, because you would need to wait at least 5 days, if not more, for the right flavor and bitterness. The blend is great for spring, but I think it's still appropriate for holiday cocktails if you add some cinnamon sticks and/or rosemary as garnish. I personally learned a lot using this kit, and even though I only enjoyed it with my spouse this time around, I would definitely buy more to impress guests when hosting dinner parties. The included bottle, funnel, and strainer don't feel cheap, although washing the bottle with a narrow neck was quite tedious. Would totally recommend it as a gift or for personal use!

This is a very nice spritz infusion kit from Craftly. Specifically, this is the Italian Spritz kit. It includes bags of dried fruit blends (Venetian Summer), dried flower petals (hibiscus for "Sunset Blossom"), and dried orange slices (Orange Sunburst), so you can really customize your own personal blend.The funnel makes it easy to pour in your liquid and dry additions. The bottle is large enough to contain 12 ounces of the finished liqueur to be used as an ingredient in your cocktail. There are recipes included, but it's also fun to experiment with different ingredients (in the liqueur blend and the finished cocktail).It takes about a week for the infusion to complete, which also makes it a fun waiting game to see if a new combination worked out to be something really delicious.I think this is a great kit to give someone else, but is also a nice treat to keep for yourself.

I love this set. Time will tell if I love the results, but it's still a lot of fun for me regardless of how the drink tastes in the end. I had never considered doing something like this for myself, but it's so easy once you have the needed materials. To craft your drink, you need vodka, refined sugar, still water, a fridge, and about a week. There are two included recipes. The Italian Spritz Aperitivo recipe requires your infusion, ice cubes, prosecco, and sparkling or soda water with a possible orange slice garnish. The Seasonal Spritz recipes require your infusion, ice cubes, bitter orange liqueur, prosecco, and sparkling or soda water. Garnishes could include a slice of blood orange and a cinnamon stick.My infusion is still a work in progress in the fridge, but already I think this is a great product and would be a great gift for someone who likes different alcoholic drinks. Even after I've finished up their ingredients in this package, I will have the sturdy, thick-bottomed bottle for my future experiments as well as the funnel with a filter that I have many other uses for in the kitchen.
