The worst thing about PUR gum is really the only bad thing about it! It can be hard to find!I've been seeking out snacks, foods, gum and mints that are free of artificial colors, sweeteners, and the other poisons the United States still allows in its food. The U.S. is far behind other places like the EU and our food is chock full of poison. It's one big science experiment and we're the guinea pigs! At this point, it's common knowledge that the artificial colors and sweeteners are poison, yet they are in everything. Which makes one really start to wonder if the conspiracy folks aren't absolutely right!In any case, this gum smacks! It's not going to last as long as the poisoned gum you get at the store that's loaded with a mix of sweeteners, artificial colors, BHT and other preservatives and carcinogens.But for something not made of poison, the gum does the trick! I personally like the flavors and am satisfied with how long it lasts.It's helped me get away from nicotine use and it is fantastic for after meals. I found this product when I worked in health food stores. I was not paid or compensated in any way and received no free product.

My mouth gets dry when I run — I’m a mouth breather — so I always stick in some gum before I start. Pur peppermint has been my gum of choice recently, and here’s why. It’s a 5K gum. For about three miles it keeps me hydrated — not with constant chewing or anything, just hanging out in my mouth with an occasional munch here and there when needed — and it has a good consistency and texture. Unlike other gums, it doesn’t start falling apart with all the air coming in or lack of use. But at the three-mile mark, it’s time for another piece.This works well for me. The flavor is good, and it stimulates enough saliva to keep me going until I can stop and properly hydrate. The other flavors don’t work at all. Peppermint is the winner for my needs.There’s more gum in this bag than I expected — a lot of miles — and the price is definitely reasonable for the benefits.

I switched over to this gum from Mentos Spearmint gum and while there are differences, I prefer this one. Mentos has a strong flavor initially that lasts longer than the PUR but once the flavor is gone, it’s GONE. With this gum I noticed that there isn’t such a bold flavor like Mentos to start out with but there is a “spearmint residue” that remains even after the initial bold flavor is gone, if that makes sense? I like it because it is good for your teeth and not full of the harsh chemicals our health system has been pumping into us for years. The flavor does not last very long and you will eat a new piece every 10 minutes, if not sooner. Lasting flavors are from chemical preservatives. So, do you want a healthy gum option or not? You have to pick your battle on this one.As far as consistency; is not far off from normal gum. You can notice a slight difference in the beginning of chewing, but it does firm up the longer you chew. The price is not bad for the amount that you get. The studies and nutrition value of hydroxyapatite and xylitol are just emerging. I would think this recipe is still new and will get better lasting flavors. I just hope they stay in the healthy lane and not chase the "sugar money". I would buy this again and see if it improves.

I bought the spearmint flavor and I would say the flavor is comparable to any gum you can get at the gas station. The biggest advantage is it does not have the synthetic fake poison and contains no sugar. Compared to the gum I was getting at the gas station, this gum may even be more affordable. I will be buying this for now on.

This gum is delicious. The chocolate mint flavor is refreshing and delightful. It's not an overpowering mix of one or the other. The mint flavor and the chocolate flavor are perfectly balanced. The flavor could last a bit longer, but you get a lot of gum for the price so I certainly can't complain. Will definitely be a repeat purchase.

Needed a gum that was sugar free and also had ZERO aspartame. That stuff is icky to sit and chew with. I also really wanted to introduce more xylitol and I think this is a great easy way to help the teeth a bit with something that actually works.So it’s kinda mindless dental health! The value is pretty decent for what it is as well. I have dry mouth sometimes and it also helps really well!
