Good all-round basic phone

This is a replacement for my husband's retro yellow Nokia purchased some years ago.It is not exactly the same in the way it works but if you want a straightforward phone for calls and texts this will fit the bill.Sturdy , easy to use, improved sound from his previous phone.

Disappointed and Upset Customer

I had to change my Nokia 3310 3G,which I had for many years and was totally satisfied with, because O2 informed me that I needed to purchase a 4G phone. I chose the Nokia 3210 4G,hoping that it would serve me equally as well and be just as user friendly. It is becoming increasingly frustrating,as it freezes and the only way to continue using it is to remove the battery and restart it. I am also concerned that the back may get damaged, having to be removed so frequently. It also changes the 'wallpaper' without me choosing to do so. Please can you help with this problem as I need my mobile at all times of day and night.

Pretty damn good brick/dumbphone.

Good phone, not too patronising and old-people-centric like a couple of other HMD nokias I’ve tried. I just want a dumb phone to disconnect a bit, not cause I can’t figure out how to use a smartphone, and this is one of the best I’ve tried (nokia 106 4g was unusably bad, nokia 2660 flip was massive and difficult to navigate).I switched to this from a 105 cause 105 doesn’t have 4G capability, and 3G networks are being shut down for me. This is the closest one I’ve found that is good. The buttons aren’t quite as quick to type as the 105, as they are plastic not rubber. The battery life is pretty good, it lasts 2-3 days on a full charge which is more than enough for me, and it charges really quick so it’s good for a camping trip if you bring a small power bank (i think the battery in this is 1100mAh?)Features I like - mp3 storage is cool, the little camera is cute, custom ringtones, wallpaper, alarm sounds is all nice. I especially like the Profiles option so i can switch between silent, normal, work modes quickly. Also, the ability to add custom words to the phone dictionary is incredibly convenient.Features I don’t like - Buttons aren’t as nice to use as the 105, typing is a little slow, videos and recordings are stored as weird custom files (.3gp and .amr respectively). HMD’s UI is also just not as nice as Nokia’s original UI for the 105. it’s not terrible but it just feels a bit tackier and lower quality.

Okay but could be better.

Would have been 4 or even 5 however I had alot of trouble with it dropping signal on calls and even saying no service??I originally bought this to have a break from doom scrolling on my smart phone and wanted something that had practical functions I needed for everyday needs. Not great for signal unlike my smart phone that had no trouble, it could have just been my luck but I wouldn't recommend just because of the trouble I had with signal drops.

A proper visible keyboard!

Needed to replace my old Nokia 3310, as only 3g. This 3210 is 4g. I have started a new account, new number, fresh start. Does all I need. I especially like these Nokia phones as they have a proper keyboard which is so much easier to use for oldies like me!

Basic phone but ideal for my needs.

No real Internet access, no Wi-Fi, for use with a talk and text SIM only. Ideal for my daughter to take to school.

Useless as an mp3 player - HMD refuse to remedy via update!

When listening to music on this device via earphones (wired or wireless), the lowest volume setting of 1/9 is absolutely deafening. This is not an issue that affects only the occasional device; it is an issue that HMD refuse to remedy or even comment on. Myself and countless others experience the issue - which a quick Google will confirm. HMD customer service are also useless, instructing you to factory reset, which will not work but will serve to delete your important data. They will then tell you to simply return the device and tactfully avoid acknowledging it as a widespread issue or committing to remedy it in future updates. If it’s important to you to have a dumb phone with an mp3 player, look elsewhere. HMD are riding on the coat tails of the Nokia that was.

Lovely little phone… But!!!

I would give the phone 5 stars for thd fact it is a remake of the phone from the late 90’s early 2000’s but there is one massive issue…. The Nokia cannot connect to wifi!We need wifi calling where we live so j fortunately the phone wasn’t much good but it is stashed for times when we need a phone that doesn’t need WiFi. There is nothing wrong with the phone it’s self, but where we live… wifi is a massive factor.
