High Hopes, highly disappointed
Was so excited for these flavors but there was no flavor. Texture was not expected and like over chickpeas I've had. I was expecting them to be crunchy, but it was dense and grainy. Thinking of different ways, I can do something with these, so I don't feel like I wasted my money.

Decent but a little too dry
These roasted chickpeas are just decent. These come in 3 flavors: Pizza, Honey Mustard, and Wasabi. The flavors are okay. However, the texture is a little too dry and hard. They are loaded with fiber and protein, which is nice. They come in a small resealable bags, 2 per flavor, for a total of 6 bags, packaged in a retail flip-top box. Mine is good until 09/2025. Overall, these are a mixed bag for me. They have good fiber and protein but a little too dry and hard to munch on. Made in Turkey.

Good But Not Great
I did enjoy the taste and quality of this snack, but I found the texture lacking. I love roasted seasoned chickpeas, but these were dry without the crunch that I crave.

Soooo dry
This is a box containing 6 resealable zipper pouches (2 each of of 3 flavors) of roasted chickpeas, from Zest Delites. The included flavors are pizza, honey mustard, and wasabi. They arrived fresh and factory sealed. I enjoy roasted chickpeas and I make them myself fairly often, so I was happy to be able to try these. The flavors of these are fine. They aren't heavily seasoned but seasoned enough. Unfortunately the chickpeas are just unbelievably dry. As you chew them they disintegrate and you quickly end up with what is essentially a mouth full of chickpea flour. It's difficult to explain, but it's like having the driest powder in the world in your mouth and trying to swallow it. As someone who has made roasted chickpeas at home many times, I know for certain that is not how they should be. They should be crispy and crunchy, but not dry as dust. I would not get these again.

Filling
Very yummy and filling! I’m so glad to have found these. It comes with 6 packages that are fairly sizable. They are packed with protein and really fill you up. I was worried I would still be hungry. They are an easy go to snack when I’m at work. 1 serving is 1oz and each bag has exactly 5 servings which is great when I put them in baggies to take with me to work. This really helps with people trying to keep track of calories and weight loss. Also, I love the taste, and they're crunchy which is awesome. I would recommend enthusiastically.

Where's the Flavor?
Freshness - Ordered August - Dated Best by September 2025These baked chickpeas have a nice crunch. Not puffy like other roasted ones, but more solid and drier. The issue I have is they are seriously lacking flavoring.Pizza - Maybe a touch of tomato or really a bit of sweetness. No herb flavoringHoney Mustard - No sweetness from homey and totally absent from the mustard flavorWasabi - This should be big a bold. Nope, not a hint of wasabiNot only were these missing flavor but salt as well. So if you want something lite in salt with little or no flavor then these are for you. To me, they taste a bit like cardboard.

Flavor mild, & very, very DRY... Fun to try something new, but I didn't like them
I guess if I'd been trying to imagine roasted chickpeas beforehand what I tasted was exactly what I would have expected. They aren't really like nuts, firm all through, they are like dry beans, which crumble into a dry, DRY powder in your mouth... One at a time they make a decent snack, like popping back popcorn from a bag, but if you go for a whole handful you'll end up with a mouthful of dry powder that is less than pleasant to try and swallow as it sticks to your tongue and sucks the moisture from your mouth like eating a spoonful of baking flour. The individual flavors are all mild in the extreme, so that without the marked bags it might be hard to tell one from another. The wasabi is neither spicy nor bold, the pizza is neither zingy nor zesty, and the honey mustard is neither sweet nor tangy. Maybe a stronger flavor powder would do the very dry, bland chickpeas a favor, but in this case none of the flavors really stood out enough to add anything other than a little bit of color.Of the healthy snacks I've tried, this is one I just didn't enjoy. I do like chickpeas, and enjoy pretzels and nuts or other dry snacks, but this was just TOO dry, like eating bagged flour kind-of dry, and the seasoning was barely-there and very forgettable. It was fun to try something new... but I didn't enjoy these.

Mild Unexpected Flavors
These are a little smaller and less puffy than my usual roasted chickpeas. The flavors were present in the three types, but the taste of the chickpeas was dominant over the flavors they were given. They didn’t really taste as expected. The pizza flavor tasted mostly of Italian herbs. The honey mustard one was sweet and spicy but didn’t really taste like mustard to me. This was a good thing because I don’t like mustard. My favorite was the wasabi flavor, which I was not expecting. It was spicy but not overbearingly so, since none of the flavors were super strong. I like that the bags are bright and colorful, and can be easily resealed. I am happy with these roast chickpeas.
