Fun and sturdy RC Truck, remote control a bit of a let down
My daughter had fun watching daddy play with this Rac truck, although she did have a go herself (she is almost 4 and found the controls easy enough after a few tries). We like that the truck itself is very well made and sturdy and comes with 2 batteries that offer you decent play time. You will need to provide your own batteries for the remote cotrol though, I'd suggest rechargeable ones. The remote is made with cheap and not very sturdy materials so I believe this will fail well before the car. Overall, it's a really fun toy and would make a cool gift too.

Great toy RC car - lots of fun
The media could not be loaded. I have had so much fun playing with this RC jeep - straight out of the box I could see it was really well built and looks the part. This is a toy and as such has safety in mind withh all the batteries safely secured behind panels. It comes with 2 rechargable batteries for the car - each of which will last 40 or so minutes - so double the fun. They are recharged via a supplied cable whhich has a USBA end and plugs directly into the battery.I did need to get 3 AA batteries for the remote control as these are not supplied. The controller allows control of forward and backward and left to right and has good range. In keeping with the off road theme it has independant suspension, big rugged wheels and a small led light bar and seems to want to go almost anywhere I pointed it at - it did struggle a bit in longer grass but across mud, tarmac and park land it it was fine. The aluminium plated body is strong enough to take the knocks but make sure the spare wheel on the back of the body is screwed on securely as mine came off at one point. It is easy to use but I have to admint I was not brave enough to try it across any serious depth of water as I did not want to sink it that said every thing seems well sealed so I just need to build up the courage.I think this is a great toy and a great present.Considering the build quality of the car it's not that expensive and I would have loved this as a kid.

RC Truck
This is an 'Amphibious' RC truck that can drive through puddles and shallow water without getting water ingress into the electronics / sensitive parts. The truck comes with two batteries that last approimately 40-45 minutes each so you get a decent run time between charges unlike some other RC toys. It is however a shame that the battery can only be removed by taking out a small screw with a small screwdriver rather than a quick release mechanism. The truck is pretty robust, nice little shock absorbers and decals. The remote control doesn't have as good a build quality as the car iteself, it takes 3 x AA batteries.A decent enough RC truck. Perhaps a little on the expensive side for that it though.4 stars.

Fun and nippy off-road fun, ideal for younger kids
The media could not be loaded. My kids had so much fun playing with this truck! It has a chunky but lightweight frame and very simple controls, my 2 year old was able to steer it around with ease. The LED light bar above the driver's cab is a nice tough. We tested it on the beach (on wet sand rather than dry) and it was more than capable of bumping over channels in the sand and former sandcastles. We also tested it by running it through the edge of the water and it coped OK, just losing a bit of traction in the shifting sand. Everyone wanted to have a go racing it across the sand and splashing it through the shallows. The batteries are concealed behind a screw in panel and are charged by a small connecting cable. We found one charge gave over an hour of play, so it's great that 2 batteries are provided to extend the fun. The remote control does need 3 x AA batteries which are not included.Overall it's a really fun toy and would be a perfect birthday or xmas gift.

Nice RC Car for a child
This Radio Control Car is great for a child. It isn't too powerful so even a young child could manage it.It is quite robust with chunky tyres and suspension with a good amount of travel, and it quite solidly built. The controller is a bit limited in that it isn't a variable control, when you turn the wheels you can't control the amount they turn, they are either full lock or straight, and the same goes for the power, it is either full power or off. Saying that, it is a good toy for the price.

Incredible little truck, VERY sturdy.
This little monster truck is super fun. It looks rad, the floodlights are VERY cool, and it's so springy and bouncy! My bulldog helped me stress test it by biting, stamping and flipping it around, and it doesn't even have a scratch. It managed to get over low steps just fine, but struggles with anything over a couple of inches. Only the front wheels turn via the remote so the turns and climbing on it isn't that sharp. If you want to change the battery you need to slightly unscrew the back and attach a tiny faffy connector. I suppose having to use a screwdriver is good because I wouldn't trust a kid to plug a battery in without shredding the socket, and it also prevents the case from opening while you're kicking it about. While the car is absolutely fantastic, the actual remote feels a bit flimsy, which I think is completely fair? At £43 you're still getting way more for your money than I would expect, so they had to cut corners somewhere. The remote isn't going to break apart or anything, it's just very light and I wouldn't trust dropping it on hard flooring. It's sturdy, inexpensive, and super fun, so I think it's great value. I would definitely age it higher than 3-8y though. It's not heavy enough to crack your ankles, but at 30km/h it could come pretty close.
