This sharpener does exactly what it says on the tin even though it came in a box. Delivery was prompt and I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this is. It looks awesome and is very simple to use and the fact it is both left and right handed is brilliant as we can both use it. The first knife I sharpened came up super sharp and I’m looking forward to sharpening the rest. The rubber on the base makes it very stable and safe to use. Very good price and I highly recommend.

This is a quality item Very easy to use , and you have complete control when sharpening Knives.

I’ve had a small knife sharpener for ages and to be honest I hated using it. This one is so different because it’s easy to use, study and also gets rid of the burs ( which I hated doing). I must admit got hubby to use it first and left one knife to sharpen myself to see if it was easy! Love this item and also bought other Deer & Oak products which are equally as good- highly recommend!

Not quite as good as expected.

A very handy and easy to use sharpener , rustic shape and handling.

This replaced a sharpener that had a single point to draw the knife through. My knives had been damage by the previous sharpener as the would sometime 'jump' as I drew them back, possibly caused by a small chip in the blade.This sharpener has 3 defined areas - coarse, fine and polish/hone. It does a much better job than the previous one. It seems to have sharpened my knives quite well but I am not sure it will ever create a razor sharp edge that might be desired with a good quality knife, therefore I use this on my older knives and am looking for a better solution for my nicer ones for when they dull.
