Wrong Pieces
Overall the set is nice, but when he started the roof portion he realized the roof corners are the wrong pieces. They are the same color, but too big, and the wrong shape. The other pieces seem fine so far, but I will update if there's any other issues. I just saw another person had the same issue, so maybe it's an error at the factory. Disappointed as it was a gift

Very Nice!
This was a fun build, NOT for beginners: instructions were very good and thorough.Photo 1: sometimes small needle-nosed pliers helped to snap small blocks together.NOTE: because of overlap of only one row of "bumps," I found it much easier to build steps #9 to 11 (when pieces locked together more securely) and then place it on the substructure (at the end of step #8). This won't any sense unless you're actually building it.Photo 2: there were curious clear pieces which looked like lights of some sort but they are totally hidden in the final build.Photo 3: although eight of these unique pieces were needed, there were only two, so my trusty Dremel modified the common square pieces to fit. Some of the tree/flower pieces were missing but they were pretty much free form. NO KEY PIECES, E.G., ROOF PIECES, WERE MISSING.Photo 4: with all due respect to the original Chinese architects, I thought the tower looked disproportionally tall, so I omitted one of the levels. Believe it looks better this way.

Very attractive set
I ordered the COZYMASS Yellow Crane Tower building set since it looked really interesting an I thought it might be fun to put together either by myself or with some of my grandkids that like these types of sets. My wife and I went to China a few years ago and really enjoyed seeing many of the buildings and this would be a good addition to our travel nook of all the places we have been to. The Yellow Crane Tower building set is a brick building set similar to other well-known brick sets out there and the quality appears to be very similar though the bricks do appear to being on the slightly smaller size on average. The color is described as yellow and it is difficult to see by the pictures but the actual color is more in line with a Golden yellow color. The set comes with a very good color instruction guide that is very good with quite detailed images and instructions. This is an ongoing project as it is very intensive to complete as it has 3,340 pieces (Extra parts are included as well) So far it has been an enjoyable project and the instructions have been pretty good as well. Overall, I would rate this set very high on quality, very good color instructions, and nice appearance. The pieces are a little on the smaller size so it would be difficult for children on the younger side and parents should be aware to keep small children away from the set as it is being assembled. Otherwise, I am very happy with the set.

Impossible to handle so small
We returned this as they are so small to handle and if you connect two of the wrong ones you can’t get them apart!

Missing the main roof pieces
My daughter had a difficult time with this kit. The instructions aren’t great, and the bags are not organized in a reasonable manner. She got to the second roof level and discovered the decorative corner pieces were the larger style, not the small one on the first level. This meant she couldn’t move any further in the build. We chose to return rather than replace.

If you don't already have calloused fingers, you will by the time you're done
Most of the roof tiles are quite pointy and definitely hurt to press into place, but it's well worth it for the quality of the finished product. These are definitely micro bricks and they're super nice quality ones at that. This build was very well designed and the manual is surprisingly clear about placement and size - it's all printed in color and many of the most complicated steps are laid out and oriented on a 1:1 ratio so you can literally pick your bricks out ahead of time and arrange them on the page to make sure you have everything placed correctly before adding it to the temple structure itself. It's extremely sturdy and at no point was I worried about anything collapsing while I was placing other pieces. It's definitely not a kit for a beginner and took me working on it for several hours at a time over the course of about a week to finish, but I was working very slowly as many of the pieces are very, very small and I was concerned about losing them (partly because nobody wants to lose pieces mid-build and partly because goodness forbid I dropped and then stepped on one of the sharp bricks - ouch!). It was very fun and I love the finished product, it looks so nice and the decals really bring it to a whole other level as far as attention to detail goes - I particularly appreciated that they're applied as you go so you're not trying to put them all on at the very end and having to try and work around structural features.
