This product includes two packs of 17 mm edible collagen casings, designed for making homemade snack sticks. Each pack contains ten strands, capable of holding up to 42 lbs of meat without the need for soaking. The casings are permeable, allowing smoke to infuse flavor, and they finish at a diameter of approximately 5/8".

Great for snack sticks
These are great, just be aware that if you smoke the meat vertically hanging, you need to tie off or us a hog ring on the ends as they can shrink while smoking, as much as a couple of inches, leaving meat exposed. I didn't have this problem smoke on horizontal grates in my pellet grill, only in my cabinet smoker. Product itself is awesome though, I made over thirty pounds of this this year and have another batch to process in the freezer.

Not that great
These do not hold up as well, or cook as well as the ones I get from Bearded Butchers. Wouldn't recommend but at the same time wouldn't say they are terrible. Say a B- in grade.
