Bought these as gifts for family and friends. If you’ve ever had a fire on your stove (we have) this device could save your life and your home! Cost is very reasonable and I made sure to add a couple to our kitchen as well. Less mess than a dry chem extinguisher and effective. Keep the extinguishers for other problems but these blankets are great for stovetop fires.

Perfect size for fire control of a kitchen stove. I've chosen this for both my home & rv.

Thank the Lord that I have not needed this product yet, but I did open it up and look at the product and these fireproof blankets seem like they should do the trick. They are sturdy flexible and easy to get to. Using one of these will take a lot less time and effort, and do the same job as a fire extinguisher. About one for every household in my family!Have a safe holiday!

Every house need one.. and cars too. They are BIG!!!! I only gave it 4 stars since you have to get it out of the bag( or don't use the bag I believe is best. It is really BIG. I WOULD BUT IT AGAIN

I bought my whole family these for Christmas. I did not have to use it but bought as a precaution. This brand is less expensive than the name brand but works the same way. Very easy to use with pull out tabs & light weight.

My concerns were that the cloth might be too thin or of a smaller dimension than stated. My order was for the Orange 4 pack and actual measurements were 39"x40". These have a nice hem on each side so the measurements would have been greater before sewing the hem. The pull tabs are secured well and do appear to be treated with flame retardant. Under the flame of a lighter they would char to ash but not flame up or melt. Pulling the tabs briefly detached the blanket clear from the package in a clean manner. This is dependent upon the grommet end being securely anchored. It still would not take much to remove the blanket even if it wasn't anchored but not as quickly.There is enough material to wrap ones face and shoulders and much of the upper body if exiting a fire scene but obviously not enough for a full body wrap. It would have as much coverage as I was hoping for. The 4 pack was a better deal for me as I wanted one for my truck, one for my car, one for the kitchen as well as one for the garage. You may wish you had one to give away when you discover how comforting it is to have one of these available. The first thing you'll think of is encouraging your grown children to have them in their homes.A very good deal on a product I hope to never need but the comfort has already made it worth the $30 purchase price!

These seem very well made just like more expensive ones and they are a smart buy to have just in case. They are compact and thin but easy to use when needed.

I haven't had to use these thank goodness. So I really can't review cuz I've never opened them. But I do feel reassured that I have them in case I need them.
