It is a reliable filament for a reliable price. It was an evolution in settling down on a brand, but no regrets here. I have had some better and some worse, but this is something that I can always count on. I now how it will behave from season to season. I know if the house humidity is over 35 percent, I am going to dry it to print it. I am ok with that idea. It stores well enough. roll to roll, the color stays pretty close. I have good bed adhesion, then it comes off the bed when you want it too. Unless I need some real exotic color, Elegoo is how I roll. I bet out of 50 rolls, I have only had one where I thought it had a tangle in the factory winding of the spool. I still trust the spool to go off and let it print without problems. The silks can be a bit brittle coming off the spool, but take your time and avoid sharp bends when loading, and then I think you will be fine. Unless I am used to it, the PLA does not smell at all when printing. I have sat in the same room as the printer for a year and half now and not growing any weird body parts. I am happy with the price over quality.

I've been using Elegoo PLA+ for about a year now as my main PLA. It's been very consistent for me. Out of 50+ rolls, I've never had a problem with it. I'm using it primarily on a Neptune 4. The flowrate is similar enough between different colors that you probably don't have to run calibrations. I run them on every roll of every filament I get though. If you want flawless prints, you have to do the work.You have to do some testing to see how fast you can print specific models with overhang, bridging, etc. The best results I get are somewhere around 250mm/sec on complex models.I've used it through .4 and .6 nozzles with no issues. If you plan on using it with a hardened steel nozzle, bump up the nozzle temp. It prints fine though.I would easily recommend Elegoo's PLA+ to anyone looking for a solid PLA+ at a good price point. It's a basic filament that does a great job in basic colors.

I’m a diehard Elegoo filament fan. I’ve tried every single color and type that they offer and it’s consistent every single time. Very rarely you’ll find something such as this where the main piece somehow gets flipped under 4-6 other layers on the roll. Thankfully I caught this one.If you have bad luck with Elegoo Filament then it’s like you / your printer / your settings. That’s the case for 90% of filament reviews. You can’t expect to toss a new roll on and everything be immaculate using the same settings as the next roll of filament.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love this filament. Used it for the arm pads and chest on the Piccolo project and the skin color on the L Lawliet project. Elegoo PLA+ has been very loyal to my projects. Started using it skeptically in the 250G 10-Pack and wish I would’ve just dived in with the 1KG Rolls head on.Durability:Not only does it make solid 3D prints; it makes the aesthetics look good as well.Color:Color comes out just as shown and advertised.Look:The look is amazing.
