The product is good for the price but only issue is that the Type C port is not for extension. Its only for charging, however it doesn't support PD charging. So technically the Type c port us next to useless.Yes If you use the dongle to connect external hard disk then the type c will power the drive and mobile will detect it.

The media could not be loaded. Worst product. After 6 months of usage, it stopped working. and the customer service said there is no service centre facility for Amazon Basics products. And for warranty claim also, they are unnecessarily delaying, and they are also not willing to do the needful.
