BehringerMEDIA 40USB Active Studio Monitor, Compatible with PC and Mac

Arrived damaged. Box had a bit of a dented corner and one speaker grille on the main unit was protruding slightly out of the front. I pushed it back in. It doesn't look right and I think it is gradually creeping out again with vibration. I should return them but I just can't be bothered. Speakers sound good and I am happy with them. I seem to be hearing all the highs and lows well enough. Connection was easy. Didn't need the guide but I will take a look at it later just in case there's something I've missed.

Works great on USB, it will require a decent phono cable because I only have a really old one which is of poor quality and is causing an interference from my mixer, but I am amazed at the quality for the price. I use these for producing Rap/Hiphop/Grime/Dubstep/DNB and more.. would recommend for anyone on a budget. These lasted 2 years before capacitor died

Bought to use just on my pc I listen to allot of music and am a dj so like high quality sound on my gaming pc too. These are better imo to my pioneer D40 speakers that I use with my controller and dj computer. I had to buy the USB to connect these to my PC separately. Bargain too at £90. Really happy. Also beautiful quality speakers.

I have had Behringer products before which have never disappointed. Behringer 40USB Active Studio Monitor Speaker is no exception. The sound is clear with neither bass nor treble dominating. The output to the left speaker has a proper connection instead of some flimsy wire hanging precariously which on previous non-Behringer speakers I found could not be replaced. Also, on my previous non-Behringer set of speakers, there was a toggle switch to switch between left and right but I was glad that these speakers do not have this toggle switch as this (in addition to the flimsy wire) is what killed my last speakers. Highly recommended.Update - I am updating this review in August 2024 to confirm the quality of Behringer Monitor Speakers since I bought these in Sept 2021 and, despite heavy use of several hours daily, they are still going strong and just as good as when I first used them.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this item over a year ago through amazon and loved the sound system however the speakers completely changed my opinion when the other night I was woken up by the speakers making a loud ticking noise while the orange ring was being illuminated, the following day I tried using a different kettle plug and the fault still occurred, plugged the speakers in and tried playing something, the ticking began to reduce in volume only to discover that I could smell BURNING, There was smoke coming from the back of the speaker. It's a good job that noise woke me up in the night because instead I could've been woken up by the smell of my wooden computer table on fire. If nobody believes me look at attached video.

Just got these today and i would highly recommend them!
