I do like the product but..
This does give me a good coverage and I like the fact that you pre-shampoo your hair with the provided charcoal shampoo and then add the dye. But why is it with these more “natural” dyes that they’re so hard to wash out?! It is a chore dying the hair because it takes basically a whole tank of hot water to try and wash the product out! Infact, I had to let the tank refill and reheat and then wash it again. It just takes forever.. it is like a coating of some sort that is water resistant! Very frustrating and costly! I switched from Naturtint for this exact same issue! The end product when finally there, is a good colour and coverage.

6N, I AM PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH THE GOOD RESULTS
I BOUGHT THE 6 N , I WAS NOT SURE WHAT TO EXPECT , AND IF IT WILL COVER ALL OF THE GREY AT 100% I LEFT IT ON THE ROOTS FOR 40 MINUTES , AS I HAVE A LOTS OF GERY HAIRS . I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS . IT COVERED ALL OF MY GREY HAIR WITHOUT GIVING ME A REDISH COLOUR .THE SHADE 6 N , IS PERFECT, GIVE ME A BEAUTIFUL RESULTS AND COVERAGE AT 100% OF THE GREY HAIR . I AM VERY HAPPY , I WILL BUY IT AGAIN . I DID BOUGHT OTHERS BRANDS BEFORE , BUT THIS ONE IS THE BEST SO FAR . I RATHER SWITCH TO A MORE NATURAL PERMANENT HAIR COLOUR NOW , WITH LESS TOXIC INGREDIENTS AS POSSIBLE .

Still had a bad reaction
If you’re buying this because you’ve developed an allergy to box dyes and hoped this would be different because it’s ’all Natural’ don’t bother. I had the most severe reaction I’ve ever had and needed 2 different steroid creams and antibiotics. My eye got massively swollen too. Don’t be an idiot like me and make sure you do a patch test coz ‘all natural’ don’t mean safe.

Colour is ok but hair felt tacky
I try to always use the most natural and gentle hair dye possible. I went for the Dark Ash Blonde as my hair has coppery tones and I want a cooler colour. I was hopeful and excited to try this.Application was easy and it was all smooth sailing until I used the provided shampoo and conditioner. It's partially my own fault, as I should have checked the ingredients. I follow the curly girl method, so only use shampoos and conditioners with no parabens, silicones, sulfates or mineral oils - but the shampoo and conditioner provided must be loaded with these as it took me about 3 washes to fully rinse out the shampoo which lathered up massively (too much in my opinion), and it took 4-5 rinses to get rid of the residue from the conditioner (or so I thought). My hair didn't feel great after this but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. The morning after, the colour looked ok. Nobody noticed I dyed my hair and they all said it looked the same, my roots just looked a tiny bit darker. But the worst part was how my hair felt - it felt like I my hair was coated with sebum or thick oil and felt tacky like the conditioner hadn't washed out fully. Was expecting silky locks, not this. And for a brand that advertises itself as "natural", you'd expect better quality shampoo and conditioner with less harsh and damaging ingredients. All in all, the colour itself is ok if you want a subtle change, but stay away from the provided shampoo and conditioner if you avoid nasty ingredients like I do. Will be going back to another similar natural brand.

Works really well
Very pleased, been using this for ages, it covers grey very well and doesn’t dry my hair out, makes it feel soft and shiny after use

... and this was the first I tried and I love it. It's the perfect shade for me
I read A LOT of reviews before changing to natural hair dye but I was determined and this was the first I tried and I love it. It's the perfect shade for me. I don't mind the initial shampoo either, most reviews I read were disappointed it made the hair coarse but I just found it really CLEANED the hair so as the dye takes better to the hair. It doesn't make the hair tangled and doesn't cause knots so once combed the dye is easy to get through the hair again. I have short, very fine hair so I never use the whole bottle but I'm really impressed. The smell is strange the first time you use as it's a natural smell rather than of chemicals but i'd rather that than burning my scalp (which I have actually done with scars to prove before with the chemical hair dyes). It's just a different product and you can't expect the same as what you get with the chemical dyes. I also think it makes my hair softer and silky after I've dyed it. Really impressed and so were my family. It lasts around 3-4 weeks but I don't find that my roots are massively showing but rather that the whole colour fades more naturally. Happy to then dye my hair say every 4-6 weeks. The price is more expensive than say some of the chemical ones but I'm actually fine with that when I know it's better for my hair and skin.
