Hopper is only 8 gallons
Quality construction but the hopper is not 10 gallons, as described.Item listing says both 30L and 10 gallons. These are not equivalent volumes. It is accurately 30L, which is approx 7.9 gallons.

2" Tri clamp base, not 2.5".
Ordered this hopper for a project. It is well made, and unlike some tri clamp parts I've gotten with unfinished internal welds, all the welds on this hopper are smooth and food grade. The walls are thin but sturdy. I imagine that they will dent if I am careless. It was well packaged, so the surfaces were not scratched.However, the hopper that I received has a 2 inch tri clamp base. I ordered a 2.5 inch clamp and adapter to go with it, and now I have to return them and buy 2 inch fittings. Except for this minor inconvenience, it will work fine for me. Make sure that you're okay with receiving a hopper with a 2 inch base.
