Alimens & Gentle French Cuff Regular Fit Dress Shirts (Cufflink Included)

The shirt is of good quality and at a good price. The fabric is substantial with nice body. The fabric has a very small herringbone pattern throughout. It reminds me of a formal dress shirt but it’s herringbone rather than pique. The fit is mostly true to size, but the neck is a bit larger than expected. I have a belly and the shirt fits well around the middle…this isn’t a slim fit shirt. The sleeves are a full 35” despite being labeled as 34/35. There is only one hole for cufflinks so there is no adjusting the sleeve length. The collar cannot accept stays and there isn’t any plastic etc. The weight of the collar holds its shape well. There aren’t any pleats or darts in the back of the shirt: plain back. The length is fine, and neither too long nor to short. It did not come untucked all day. It is a dream to iron, but I consider it only average for wrinkle resistance. The cuff links it comes with are cheap and garish. The collar is a medium spread and classic rather than exaggerated. The color is absolute pure white as it should be. All in all, it’s a nice conservative dress shirt with a bit of swagger with the small subtle herringbone pattern. I’d buy it again.

This shirt is so nice. There’s a texture to the shirt. The white is white. The cuffs are so nice. The size fits me very well. As a female wearing a man’s shirt, the size chart helped me find a size to fit me perfectly well. The shirt has not been washed yet, the weight is really nice. The shirt does not smell bad.

This shirt is a hit! Every time my husband wears a shirt he gets a compliment the cuffing so beautiful the shirt the way that is made is so classy. It’s for a gentleman‘s gentleman. If you know what I mean, I would definitely buy this shirt over and over again.

After reading the reviews from other customers I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. Though many of the reviews are positive, others mention that this shirt arrived wrinkled, stained or with "cuff issues". The cufflinks were sometimes missing or mis-matched. In my case, the shirt arrived in a small box -- kind of stuffed into it, but neatly. Since I was looking for something to wear with a vest (that came with matching cufflinks), the cuff width is a non-issue and the links, while not a design I would normally wear, are okay -- but as I've mentioned, I had not planned to use them anyway. The shirt is a perfect fit -- with sleeves that are the correct length for someone whose arms are slightly longer than average. Though the fabric is a little synthetic-feeling (it is supposed to be 60% cotton and 40 % polyester but the latter seems to dominate), for the price I can't complain.

I've bought about six of these over time. In most cases the fit is perfect. I'd call the fit more on the tailored side than full cut, but I wouldn't call them trim fit or slim fit either. They're just about right for me without being baggy. The fabric looks and feels much finer than you'd expect at this price point. I did receive one where the left sleeve was about an inch and a half longer than the right sleeve, but the others were right on the money. One thing I don't like is that they have non-removable collar stays, but for about $25 I'd say they stack up very well next to many others that are twice the price. I have no problem recommending them if you want a good, professional looking shirt at a low price.
