Super Easy! Definitely try before buying a new device!
I purchased this GFCI Plug to replace one on our saltwater pool pump, and I’m really impressed! The installation was simple and straightforward—just connect the three wires (black, green, and white) to the marked screws, tighten them, and close the cover. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The plug itself feels durable and well-made, and I love the added peace of mind with the surge and lightning protection features. It’s built to withstand heavy use, so I know it will hold up over time. What I really appreciate is the safety aspect—it automatically cuts the circuit in just 0.03 seconds if there’s an electrical leak, which is a huge bonus for protecting my equipment and family.Great replacement plug that works for a variety of equipment, and it’s definitely saving me from spending extra money on buying a new pool pump!

Works great!
This GFCI plug is a must have for any outdoor use extension cord. It's easy to install, rugged and most importantly it works well. The built in LED indicates the power status and I think it's a good feature. The cable gland/ strain relief fit my 14-3 extension cord. I used some soapy water to lube the cord and that helped with the install.

Amazing value for the price! Top-notch quality from a Chinese-made product, can't ask for better

Most part were MISSING - Junk.
Absolute piece of crap. Package was completely shrink sealed before opening. The GFCI was all apart when I opened it. The four screws that hold down the cover were missing. The crimp part that holds the wire in place was missing as was the 2 screws that held that in place, they were also missing. Finally, the rubber boot that seals the cable was missing as well. Luckily, I still had the parts from the old GFCI, but much modifying had to happen as the screws I had were too short, so I had to drill the screw holes in the cover deeper to be able to use them. If I didn't need it right away, I would have sent this Chinese junk back. I haven't plugged it in yet, so who knows. Stay away.
