Fine tuning the motor skills
Purchased for our grandson when he was 2.This was a great for his fine motor skills.He loved beading the strings with all the colors.Now that he is almost 4 we are using these to teach patterns.

Perfect for its use
I purchased this for my 2yr old son to assist with his physiotherapy. It works out perfectly. He gets to use both hands whilst placing the beads on the lace, and it's not too challenging to get him frustrated. Lace and beads are lovely vibrant colors.

Quality but not “Jumbo” in size
The beads are quality, however it states “jumbo” beads. I was expecting larger beads than I received. These beads are only the size of a nickel and for toddlers, age 2, I was looking for a larger size for their little hands.

Entertaining
I bought these for my almost 3 year old niece while I was watching her. They are perfect for lacing, sorting, picking up with toddler size tweezers, etc.She honestly wouldn't stop playing with them. Every day I was there she asked me to play with them with her.We sorted them on plates in bowls, pretended they were different kinds of food, laced patterns with colors or shapes, rolled the different shapes to see what works and what doesn't and why, etc.Being an early childhood educator, I value the different things you can do with these, all while working on those extremely important fine motor skills!!I can't say your child will be as obsessed with them as she is; but, if you get down on the floor, use your imagination and get involved I don't think you'll be disappointed. And you'll get the joy of spending time with that precious little human you are caring for - what could ever be better than that? 😊
