CIVIVIPocket Knife for EDC, Conspirator Button Lock Folding Knife 3.48" Nitro-V Blade, Black Micarta Handle C21006-1

I took a chance on this after my Gerber folding tanto decided to finally give up on life. I have been very surprised at how well this folders edge has held up over time. The Damascus pattern is very nice and the flip-action to open the knife works really well...just be careful if you try to close it fast...it's very sharp and will bite :)I'm going to check out the rest of the CIVIVI lineup and pick a few more, I'll do reviews on those as well. Buy with confidence !

Got this for my boyfriend who collects knives and he loves it! Affordable, good quality steel and handle, sharp, easy to sharpen, and good grip/ easy to use for bigger hands.

Purchased the ultem version with black blade coating. The flipping action and button lock is really good. Very fidgety very positive detents. Stays closed in pocket. Colors look great. Nice deep carry, very svelte, light and thin, the longer blade is nice for food prep. I have had the button lock get a little sticky with dirt but rinsed out no problem. The blade sharpness out of the box was just ok. I sharpened to 20 degrees, it took a while to raise a bur but finally got it razor sharp. I love the no thumbstud blade, I keep reaching for this knife.

This is one of two knives I carry everywhere I can. I absolutely love it. It’s very handsome, holds an edge well, is great to fidget with in a pinch, opens so easy and closes in a flash.I added the titanium pocket clip as mine immediately decided to grab the seatbelt and was never the same.She’s a bit tough to sharpen but holds an edge well, no rust to speak of. The push button was a bit tight for a few days until it broke in. The micarta has developed a nice patina and is grippy enough for my use.I can’t praise this thing enough.

I had this knife in my wishlist for a long time. I wish I would have bought it sooner. I have a lot of knives and as soon as I opened it, this one became my absolute favorite. The Damascus is gorgeous. The blade is longer than I thought and the handle is solid. I am now going through the Civivi catalog and loading up. This was my first one and I am shocked that I had not tried them before.
