Great bento box for my toddler. Trying to avoid plastic exposure and this is great! Made her a Totoro bento lunch

I've been taking my lunch in this for a few months now. I usually make the lunch the night before and leave it in this bento inside the fridge, then take it with me in the morning. I'm happy to report that it has not warped or taken on any odors even though there's food in it for up to 14 hours a day. The utensils are great too, and the elastic band is quite sturdy. I'm also pleased with the finish; the wood seems to be treated with some sort of food-grade oil rather than sketchy paint or lacquer. The parts obviously aren't liquid-proof, but bentos aren't for soup anyway. I cannot recommend this bento enough for anyone who wants that classic bento look!

I bought this to prepare lunches and snacks for my husband to take to work. This is a bit small for sandwiches, and he loves to bring those so we returned this to find something a bit larger. But for any other food, or snacks, this is very beautiful and well made.

Some people might find this one small, but i think its perfect if you are trying to control your portion sizes. It also depends what you put in and how compact (i managed to put a big plate of rice in just one container). Best part is that you can use it in the microwave and its easy to clean. The box has some weight to it so it feels really nice and good quality.Was expecting some smell because of the material but didnt have the slightest hint of smell at all. Came with a cute spoon and fork, and the stretchy band.

This lunch box is gorgeous! It feels very solid and looks exactly as in the picture. As other reviews have mentioned, the divider is removeable (but I don’t understand why that is a problem, if you fill it with food it stays in place). No, the divider would not keep sauces seperate, but typically when you pack this kind of lunch box sauces are packed separately (you can find little bento sauce containers or silicone cups on Amazon too), they would fit fine in this box. This is the perfect size for an adult and I can’t wait to pack my lunch for tomorrow!

Fantastic product. This bento is well made and light. I wanted something to carry my lunch in that wasn't plastic and mismatching, and this bento is perfect for what I needed. I bought two furoshiki to use and they fit this bento exactly with enough room to tie. I do sometimes have to take other items on the side, like a drink and other snacks to fill me up, but I tend to have a healthy appetite. Would buy again, and would super recommend.

Even though it comes with 2 parts, the actual room for food is still smaller than I expect because the thickness of the box. This product is not ideal as lunch box for male working adult, it's good for occasional picnic I suppose, but not for daily meal. The elastic band is difficult to put it on until you "learn" the trick. Also the one I received comes with an intensive strange smell, almost smell like wood paint. Even after couple wash you can still slightly smell it. I don't think any container that's gonna have food in it should smell like this.

The media could not be loaded. Its pretty solid for the price. Just be careful because it can leak and the bands aren't super secure. But looks really lovely.
