Well made and very convenient

I recently realised that my current W&N tabletop easel didn't hold small sized canvases and card which was a real pain and I saw this easel which looked as though it might work for me. Indeed it did - and I am very pleased that I bought it as it will now give me full flexibility for all my pictures. It seems to be well made using good quality components so hopefully, will last for a good while. A very worthwhile purchase that I would fully recommend

Size not as stated. Not recommended if you have 16"/40cm canvas frame!

Not the best! Paid more for this compared to others due to the stated size. We have a canvas 30cm x 40cm and does not fit correctly in the vertical orientation. 40cm is 16", this easel should fit up to 16" but appears to be too small as the top clamp will not connect and tighten on top of our canvas frame. Really disappointed as these look good on the sellers photos and also looked a nice build.....

Canvas support sits proud of bar at base

This looked perfect for what I needed but upon tightening the wing nut to secure the position of the easel the base where the bottom of the canvas sits, ends up proud of the support that it should rest on. Thus rendering it not fit for purpose. Of course this may just be a one off. But I thought I'd flag it up.I bought a more sturdy one in a square frame shape which is fine.
