Fantastic Value
I love prosciutto, I've not had a wide variety, only experiencing domestic brands, with Boar's Head being my favorite. I was kind of apprehensive about ordering this ham, over a hundred dollars is a lot of money for a ham you aren't sure you're going to like. Turns out I was worried with no need. I had read the best prosciuttos were from "protected designations of origin", this one is not, but I'm okay with that as this ham is delicious! The only ingredients in this ham are pork and salt, which is what I prefer in my prosciutto. This is probably the best prosciutto I've ever tasted! The price cannot be beaten, my ham was about 15.33 pounds, that averaged out to less than $7.50 per pound, Boar's Head is $14.99 a pound. Since this is way more meat that we can eat before it spoils, we have cut it into smaller chunks, tightly wrapped in cling film, packed in a ziplock and froze for later use. I've read it freezes well as long as it is tightly wrapped. You do need a really sharp knife to remove the skin, and we had about a one inch chunk from the bottom that was really hard (it is dried meat after all), I froze this and am going to use it for seasoning beans or something like that.Without doubt I would recommend this ham. It has great value and even better taste. If for some reason I find that it doesn't do well once defrosted I will come back and update, but I don't anticipate that to be a problem. I'm delighted to have found this on Amazon.

Great ham
I’ve been looking for good quality ham that’s close to the ham which I love so much from my hometown China, yet not available here at US. I am so happy finally I got it here at Amazon by this purchase! Wow! Wonderful Christmas ham dinner is made tonight! Great flavor! The best ever! Absolutely deserve every penny I spent! Will buy again and will recommend to my friends!

Good Product and so much cheaper than buying in the groocy stores
Dilivery was great as I was worried that the ham may be left too long in hot temperatures. I woukd have liked it to beore on the 13 to 15 pounds after taking all skin and unbeatable parts I ended up with about 10 pounds. Still good value for money as it tastes realy good. A bit on the salty side but good. I froze most of it after slicing it and it unfreezes very well.

This prosciutto is really good, tasty and just a little bit more salty ...
This prosciutto is really good, tasty and just a little bit more salty than the Parma or San Daniele, notoriously lower in salt but two to three times more expensive. I'm a foodie Italian just moved to the US and prosciutto crudo has always been my favorite salume. This one is very well seasoned but not too much dry, that is a great sign. Also, the delivery was really fast, it arrived on the first day scheduled. For this price you're not going to find anything better!!!

Best Prosciutto Ham available
This is a big ham and the flavor runs all the way through it. It slices easy and being boneless made it that much easier. The taste is superb and we can't stop eating it.

Prosciutto ham insufficiently cured
The prosciutto was a nice big ham but was much undercured without the taste of prosciutto. The meat is very soft, not firm, and has tiny white specks all over. This is the 3rd prosciutto we have bought from you and the others have ben superb, What can be done abot this one (We can scarcely send 11-13lbs back and in any case we have already cut it up) What to do? Italians don't know how
Italians don't know how to cure and flavor prosciutto, I bought this as a gamble and I am not impressed. My biggest complaint is that prosciutto is not cured to what I perceive as adequate, there is no flavoring induced by smoke and spices.Pig tastes as good as any pig but art of curing and flavoring falls short here, prosciutto is just not aged enough, it cuts like a jelly, there is no firmness that is associated with well seasoned and aged prosciutto, wasted money.
