At last - a shirt pocket 4g phone with a keypad !
I've bought this to replace my (much loved) Sony Ericsson Cedar 2G/3G keypad phone which I've kept in my shirt pocket for at least 10 years. It is slightly heavier than the Cedar (90 g vs 87 g) and fractionally bigger - but unlike the Cedar it does not have email. But 4G is the future and this phone has the benefit of 4G voice (voice over LTE). 4G LTE coverage is now becoming very good and all the networks are using 800 MHz band which provides much better range and penetration than the higher frequency bands (1800 MHz 2G EE and 2100 MHz 3G). One needs the right SIM of course and Three network seems to have the most widely available VoLTE capability. My Three PAYG SIM supports VoLTE on the phone. Also, surprisingly my Sky (O2) provides VoLTE so I have both SIMs in this phone which is Dual SIM. With two 4G idle modes the battery life is not very good - I think perhaps only a day or two - but I'll put up with this for the superior 4G (+3G and 2G) coverage and excellent VoLTE voice quality - and because it seems to be the optimum size (not too large like a smartphone or too small) and weight to fit in the palm of the hand when talking for long periods.PostscriptI have switched to Nokia 110 because I prefer its user interface - in particular the 110 allows texts to be forwarded unlike the 225

Basic backup/festival phone - Not suitable for seniors / vision impaired.
This is no better than a basic backup phone, save your cash and just buy the cheaper 105 or 106. If you need little more than a no frills phone but with 4G and a basic camera this phone is for you.The goodDecent when making a phone call, clear and loud enough.Predictive text - Thankfully it has this feature, many backup phones from other manufacturers do not.Backlit keypad - Good for night use.Camera - Compared to my smartphone this takes photos lightning quick. It is much lower resolution however. The badBad screen - Terrible viewing angles, dim, poor definition.Gloss finish - The entire front of the phone (screen, keypad etc) is a really bad finger print magnet. It looks awful.Poor quality speaker - Distortion can be heard when simply listening to the built in ringtones with higher pitch.Software - Less options than a Nokia 206 circa 2012. Can't edit all the shortcuts, can't increase the text size - rubbish for a phone in the elderly category on Amazon. It also can't import contacts without issues, creating multiple duplicates for contacts with more than one number for example (ie. Mobile, Landline, Work).Camera - Inexplicably the flash the the camera is missing but they put a torch on the top of the phone instead. This makes no sense as it can't be used to help illuminate photos.

Nice Looking Compact Phone
I needed to replace my old android phone and decided to go back to basics. Over the last few years I have got fed up of all the latest apps being introduced. I don't want to use my phone to carry personal information and banking wherever I go, I don't need a notification to tell me it's the end of the world. This phone does have internet, facebook access if you need it. Am having to get used to navigating using buttons not tapping a screen, so it is slower. I have removed a star as I feel that sometimes the buttons are not as responsive as they should be and when I'm texting you can hear a click as you press them. Otherwise a good phone for the price.

DON'T BUY THIS PHONE
This is far from user friendly. Texting is a nightmare. It keeps switching off predictive texting and having mislaid the user guide, I found the internet version pretty useless. Sounds can be switched off but the keypad still makes them. I haven't discovered how to turn to contacts quickly and have to scroll through the lot to open the one I want. It makes an irritating jingle when turned on that isn't cancelled by switching off the sounds. The surface finish of the phone and the screen pick up finger prints. You can find a much better make, as I intend to.

Easy to use
I wanted a phone that is easy to set up and use and this one does that. I didn’t want a Smart phone so this one is perfect for texting, phone calls and has a bright torch too. It’s cheap so if it gets damaged I haven’t wasted too much money.

Simple and functional
Small and simple and on 4g which is what I wanted, but the predictive text is the least responsive of any phone of this type I have had! Doesn't even automatically recognise that I should be in capitals
