Was this cabinet trash can worth the wait?
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely loved how slim it is, the measurements were perfect and I was able to measure and see if it would have fit before I ordered! The rollers are really smooth and extend a good amount with absolutely no problem. It was real easy to put together and I love how easy it is to remove the trash bin from the bracket. Works amazing and honestly not that pricey compared to other bins

Perfect for under my sink
I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to write one for this product. Very easy to install. Seems sturdy. Quick shipping. Would definitely buy again.

Great purchase!
The media could not be loaded. This came easy to assemble and I installed in into a pre-made cabinet. Smaller then I originally wanted but good for recycling or dog food. Looks very clean, pulls out of cabinet very well and great value for the money.

Fairly easy installation, decent quality
Took a lot of fussing, but was able to work it out and the finished installation pulls smooth and works well. While the bin at 20 quarts is a bit on the small side, this was the only pull-out trash bin that would fit into the narrow cabinet next to our sink. The instructions left a little to be desired, particularly on how to "snap" the bin framework into the lower slide portion. The plastic clip took a bit to figure out. I ordered the optional door attachment brackets, which also were a bit difficult to align. But I am pleased with the final product. I reduced 1 star on the rating because I felt the instuctions were lacking.

It's bizarrely space wasting. The bin is tiny in relation to the mechanism.
There's unnecessary room in absolutely every aspect around the can, to allow for a much larger can with this size of mechanism footprint.Behind the can, on top of the slider footprint, there's at least a wasted 6-8 inches. They literally could have supplied a much larger container using the same footprint, meaning you just wasted all that space, installing a space saver pull out. When closed, this thing has a huge gap in the back of the cabinet, that you used anyway if the slider base fits.So.. It just makes no sense. If like me, you shopped and found this item because of the space you had available. That space in this instance is the measurement of the pull out slide, not the container. The container sits in the center of it, right at the front with MASSES of space around it and particularly behind it.You just installed a gigantic mechanical element that then goes on to hold something less than half it's size.Because the container is so tiny and centralized, it's making a larger space, smaller, just to allow for the use of the pull out, which simply must be made to hold larger containers too, and they re-used a design.I'd have been better off keeping it simple and using the largest plastic container I could fit in the under sink space. In function it ends up with things all around it and behind it, because there's SO much wasted room, with a bin that fills instantly because it's so relatively tiny. It's really quite nicely made.. It just doesn't make any sense at all, when the point in this kind of design is to maximize space, not pointlessly make the space hold fewer smaller things just to say you have a pull out container..

This Shouldn't Be This Difficult, Knape & Vogt
UPDATE 2023: They stopped displaying pictures of it with the non-existent lid, and another vendor is now selling the lid on Amazon. Is it a good, narrow trash can with a solid, easy-to-install sliding system? Yes. Does it come with the pictured lid? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Does the lid, which you have to order on their site, cost an additional $23 (including shipping)? OH YES IT DOES.To clarify: THE LID IS NOT INCLUDED.Honestly, this is not hard, K&V. Just change the picture on your Amazon listing and explain clearly to your customers what they're getting OR NOT for their money. Or try actually bundling the lid with the trash can. That's your basic Capitalism 101 right there. And if it must be sold separately, how about selling the lid on Amazon, too? So you can provide an easy path for your customers to estimate the real cost and maybe even purchase the lid on Prime without additional shipping costs. Think this through, K&V. You can do it.

Very good for what it is, but it is small!
I'm torn here. The thing is smaller than I would like. However, it was the largest I could find that would fit the space available. Just two of us in the house, and a single 8 gallon plastic bag, in this 5 gallon container, lasts 1-2 days or just one day on the weekend, so we go through a lot of bags. On the one hand, it's a bit inconvenient, but it also assures that garbage is removed frequently. The sliding rack was easy to install and works smoothly. The plastic can just sits in place, so it's easy to remove for cleaning or (horrors!) if you just need to dump the can without using a liner. The top was a must-have on our feature list, and it works well. The flip up lid closes and seals reasonably, and the outer rim of the top holds the bag in place very well. One thing I didn't consider was placement. Under the sink is logical, since the only other things there are cleaning supplies and such, so we're not exposing dishes, pots and pans, or foodstuffs to the bacteria in the garbage. OTOH, if two people are picking up after a meal, access to the garbage is blocked by the person rinsing dishes. Just FWIW, I thought I'd mention that.
