Got this to make laying and levelling patio slabs easier and it did the trick. I wasnt sure if needed and compared it to just using the end of a wooden hammer shaft and found this well worth the justification in getting for the job even for a DIYer who will use once in a blue moon.

I use it a lot for gardening and wrap it in plastic before I use it so that it doesn't mark. It works for planting spikes and lawn edging or sticks. Much easier to use than a traditional hammer.

A better tool for the job, i normally in the past have used the handle of my hammer for those jobs that need a little TLC, but the last few times i have had more than a few tiles break after a lot of cuts, this is a royal pain in the backside, so a white rubber mallet is what i needed

It’s quite heavy and not too hard, which is exactly what I wanted to smack some floorboards together that had separated slightly (hence, needed a rubber mallet with some stickiness / grip). However, I’m not entirely sure about the “non-marking” claim - it does leave some white residue when hitting something at a slight angle. However, it seems that it ain’t permaent but does rub off with a small effort. Overall, seems a very good price / quality ratio.

It Was great but thought it would last longer split before we finished our garden! Disappointed
