Space-Saving and Solid Performance
The PowerBlock adjustable dumbbells have been a fantastic addition to my home gym. They’re incredibly easy to adjust—just slide the selector pin and you’re ready to go. The weight range is perfect for everything from light toning to heavy lifting, and the compact design saves a ton of space compared to a full rack of traditional dumbbells. The build quality is excellent—very sturdy with a balanced feel during lifts. I was a bit skeptical about the blocky shape at first, but it hasn’t interfered with any exercises. In fact, they feel more stable than I expected. If you're looking for a versatile, durable, and space-efficient solution for strength training at home, these are absolutely worth the investment.

Dependable, sturdy, simple, classic.
This company has been around a while, and for good reason. It's sturdy, the range of weight and increments give you a lot of flexibility with use, simple mechanism, and the fact that this particular model is expandable is a great value if you're just starting out and want to have the option of growing. As long as you know what you're getting, this is a great adjustable dumbbell. Newer types of adjustable dumbbells are in the more traditional shape, but there's a cost and complexity that comes along with them that make them less reliable.

These Really Are The World's Best Dumbbells!
The durability on these dumbbells are far beyond expectations. I recently purchased my second pair. My son moved out to college, so I gave him my older version I bought 21 years ago which almost look and function like the day I bought them (ofcourse with some scratches) Viewers say you can't drop them and yes it's true to a certain extent. But over 21 years there have been times I mistakenly did drop them. No damage just scratches.LET'S GET TO BUSINESS!PROS:Fast AdjustingVery DurableLess Wider than most adjustable dumbbellsEasy On your thighs because they're flat at the endsDon't Rattle as muchBeing Square will NEVER roll off on youExpandable (you're not obligated to purchase highest weight)2.5 lbs IncrementsGreat Customer ServiceFeel really good in your handCONS:Slightly Expensive (buy once... cry once)Shouldn't Be DroppedYou Pass On, a family/friend will inherit them 😆

No gimmicky or questionable adjustment mechanisms, just a simple, safe, quality design.
Purchased these to share with my teenage son with limited space. I performed an enormous amount of research into adjustable dumbbells and ultimately chose these. Have absolutely no regrets. We switch back and forth between weight preferences easily and efficiently. And the range of incremental weight selection is the absolute best out there - largely due to the hidden 2.5 lb removeable handle inserts. If you can do simple math, you will easily understand. As I suggested in the title, I've no fear of these coming apart overhead or above toes. Even the highest rated, competing adjustable dumbbells on the market almost all have truly sketchy locking mechanisms counting on buttons or ratcheting dials that will absolutely break at some point, or on pins that will stop pinning, and a most also have wedge like shape designed in the weights meant to hold- but should and surely will always linger in one's mind that they may come apart if jostled ever so slightly the wrong way- or just an accidental bumping together of the two dumbbells above your chest. No thanks to that. I'll stick with these.Even in such a case as the slide/selector on these somehow breaking, it's simplistic design will easily allow for a safe replacement alternative to be purchased (or even made) instead of a complete rebuild or garbage toss like the others that count on too many internal, proprietary parts.Made of solid steel, really good welds, and again, K-I-S-S design.I also chose this model because there are weight upgrades/additions available- up to 90 lbs each. At my age, I doubt I will get back to that level, but good to know as my sons may be there sooner than later.

Best Buy For The Money lb per lb
This set of dumbbells are awesome. First they are a great space saver. Second, they are safe and quick to adjust. Also, there are many other mechanical adjustable dumbbells that are similar but the weights get stuck as the locking system wares down over time. However, this system is not mechanical, the adjustable pin system is easy to use and never fails to slide out the weight amount as you need, it's full proof and they never get stuck. The paint finish and quality are excellent. Also, I like the smaller foot print of their design and I though they would be awkward to handle but just the opposite is true. Since they are compact I feel I can handle the heavier weight with more control. I am close to 60 and for me 50 lbs is probably enough for most exercises, but for certain exercises such as shoulder shrugs I can still jump up to 70lbs on each hand. I like that I can increase to 90 lbs but I probably won't need to get there I my age. Regardless, if you're not a professional body builder and plan on exceeding 90lbs on each hand these are a great deal and product. I am extremely happy I bought them as they have done an amazing job with the design and the person who created this system really though outside the box. Oh and by the way, the box design is also a bonus especially when you go heavy and you plant them on top of your knees to kick them up for a dumbbell press. You'll see if you buy them. BTW, I don't have any endorsement with this company I just was impressed with the overall value I received, I know a good product when I use one and this is a great product.
