I bought this percolator after learning about microplastics and how they leach toxic chemicals into water, food, and air, especially when in contact with hot liquid. The hot water comes in contact with the metal only, making it safe and delicious cup of coffee. The percolator makes a smooth, delicious cup of coffee. Far superior to a standard coffee pot or K-Cup coffee maker.Additionally, it's easy to use. Assembly is a snap, and it takes approximately 5 minutes to percolate. Once it's done, it switches to a warm setting, keeping the coffee hot as long as you need. Clean up takes about 4-5 minutes, and I let it air dry on our drying mat.The marks for the number of cups are on the inside, which are easy to see. I read a few reviews complaining about this feature, but it's plainly visible inside the pot as you fill it with water. I also read a few critiques about the pot not signaling when it's done brewing, but you can hear it switch from percolating to warming.One important feature to note, the coffee comes out very hot. Hotter than a standard coffee pot, so I pour a full cup immediately after percolation is complete and let it sit for 3-4 minutes to cool a bit.This coffee pot is one of the best I've used, and it's toxin-free! The price is comparable to a good, standard coffee pot, and I highly recommend it for a smooth, delicious, toxin-free cup of coffee.

Just the right size for a few cups, super easy to use and clean, and it has that great old-school vibe. Definitely a solid buy if you’re into good coffee without the fuss

Already had it's little Brother, now happy to have the 12 cup big boy. Perc coffee is far superior to drip coffee and is hotter too. I have had the smaller version over 20 years, never an issue. I set it up the night before, plug it into a wifi outlet plug, program the plug to have my coffee ready anytime I want it, no need for a "Programable Coffee Maker". Think about it: a drip coffee maker moves the water thru the coffee grounds ONE TIME, the percolator gets the water hotter and sends it thru the grounds again, and again to wring out more flavor. It is a far superior coffee system. The smaller one is perfect for travel, it makes two large cups of quality coffee quickly when I travel, K Kup stuff cannot compare. 5 minutes for the 6 cup, 10 minutes for the 12 cup. For quality coffee and durability, these are top of the line.

I love this percolator because it is all stainless steel with no coffee going through plastic like most all coffee makers in use today. This is an excellent coffee maker to get one away from plastic. However . . . this morning I noticed my coffee maker was hot. Obviously it does not have a thing in it to completely turn it off if it notices there is no coffee in the pot. This can be dangerous if you make some coffee and leave it plugged in then go on vacation.I have an outlet that has an on/off switch (I got off Amazon) that plugs into in the outlet. After being done with the pot I turn off the switch rather than unplugging it.Also, it makes a very hot cup of coffee and it keeps the extra coffee in the pot hot until you use the remaining coffee in the pot.I just wish this pot has a built-in auto-off switch if it notices there is no coffee in the pot after emptying it.

LOVE this little percolator. It makes THE BEST coffee ever. It's small (1 person household) easy to use and clean AND it's cute.My only area of improvement is the inside marker for water and no on off switch. If I could I would improve that. But honestly it's trivial compared to the quality and ease of use. Love that it's stainless steel too, no plastic. Makes a huge difference in taste and healthier too. So glad I switched from a standard coffee maker. Best decision ever.

Chose this percolator after comparing with many others on Amazon.Reviews I read of other brands and sizes spoke of parts breaking off, the units failing, or poor build quality.I have this for approximately 4 months now and I still enjoy having a hot cup of great tasting coffee. Has consistently worked without issue. The build quality is solid, the cover fits securely and the brew time is reasonable. Combined with a paper filter, there are no grounds in my cup.This model is small, but I think it’s great for one person.Cleaning is easy.

It’s good in the sense that this little guy (4 cup) still brews a good cup of coffee, that’s HOT, not just tepid that I have experienced with some electric drip makers, or those coffee makers that use coffee pods. I own 2 older Farberware electric percolators in the larger sizes, and you can see the difference in their quality in terms of how they were built then and now just by looking inside the pot. First time I purchased this 4 cup percolator, just wish it was designed having a slightly larger bigger capacity to at least brew two full 24 oz. cups of coffee when cycle is completed. The 4 cup line inside the pot measures less than 32 ounces. After brewing, I only get 1&1/2 mugs of coffee. But at least it’s hot and has good flavor. Hopefully, it last as long as my older ones.
