Needed a portable toilet due to our sewer pump being under repair. I was grateful to receive it. I specifically wanted the drop arms; so, my hips wouldn't be touching the arms when I'm seated and I'm happy for that feature. They are also easy for me to drop and then pull back up. If someone has severe arthritis, it might be difficult to work that feature, which is a push button but I had no problem at all. When lifting the arms, the button pops right back into place to hold the arms secure. My thighs do touch the a part of the arm when it's folded down but that's negligible. The seat seems large enough (and I'm not a tiny gal) and there's no pinching at all. It seems very sturdy. It was easy to put together, basically had to put the legs and seat on. I like the fact that the seat is hard plastic because it makes it easier to clean thoroughly. If someone is older and has a more delicate bottom, it might be too hard for lengthy sitting but keeping it sanitized was my first concern and it's comfortable enough for me. I am glad I bought this toilet. It's sturdy, easy to keep clean, small enough to fit in our bathroom and has the drop arms.

This is a awesome potty chair for someone to use in emergency! Perfect for adults of all sizes! Very sturdy!

This pot is great for people that are disabled on one side as you can lift the armrest on that side. It is also very good for dressing them on the commode as both armrest come down.
