I’m very pleased with these bookcases (I bought two, to fit each side of a window in a room with a sloping roof). Once assembled, they are sturdy and look nearly as good as fitted shelves.They were fairly easy to put together. A couple of the fittings seemed a little misaligned, but it didn’t affect the overall assembly. The reason I have given this four stars not five is there were a few area of minor cosmetic damage, but these are in areas hidden from view. Also, some of the little screw things that hold in the bolts don’t sit flush. However, these are minor overall and not noticeable once the shelves are filled with books.The bookcase was a little wide for one side of the window, but I found an easy solution was to use a mini saw and trim a little off the end panel, then screw the side panel back on.Overall, I’d recommend these shelves. Nice looking and study.

Great bookcase! We purchased two and have them going upto each other at the highest point. They look amazing filled in and you have so much space for books or trinkets. Surprisingly, they don't take up too much room but make sure you measure your room first so you can estimate the length they will go.Overall, very pleased. Great valuable for money, easy to assemble ( for my hubby it was) and they are very sturdy.

This is a very solid piece of furniture I was not disappointed it exceeded my expectations.It goes together really well and the instructions were perfect!So pleased with this thank you, I totally recommend this item!Delivery was a bit of a nightmare by Hermes, came 3 days after delivery date having promised delivery on each day! Was very frustrating but I got over it whenI saw how good this was.

Super easy to assemble - every piece was labelled & instructions were clear (a power drill makes it much faster).It’s not especially sturdy or solid, but it doesn’t wobble and it does come with a few options to attach it to a wall.I wanted a second one as a room divider but I wouldn’t feel secure about its stability/safety. For under the stairs though it’s fine.After taking 2 different internal sizes from other customers plus another customer’s smaller box purchase, I used my Scary Precision as my husband calls it and worked out a guesstimate for the right sized boxes. You can see the 3 yellow & grey ones (bought from Amazon) - fit like a glove.It’s functional and everything fits well so it doesn’t look too cheap.
