Henry Schein PhytoVet MC Shampoo 8 oz

I live on the island of Guam and animals seems to have a harder time here with allergies and stuff just due to the rainy season, wet grass and algae. I use this on my two pit bulls and pug. Pugs already have skin/allergy issues so to add a island environment, just makes it worse for them. As soon as I started using this product, her coat is not splotchy anymore, no more dandruff from constantly scratching and of course no more scratching !

I buy this for a “yeasty” husky of ours.She’s been treated so many times for yeast/fungal skin infection that I finally said NO MORE ANTIBIOTICS, figure out what’s wrong or put her down, she’s miserable.Well they prescribed this for an outrageous amount. It’s the only thing that’s worked.Didn’t want to spend the $50.00 at the vets office so found it on Amazon.We use it once a month now for maintenance and not a single yeasty skin issue since.Just lather her up extremely well . Let it sit for as long as we can and rinse her off.When it was at its worst. Lather. Sit on for 15 minutes, rinse. Repeat. Every other day until her skin got better. She eventually thought she was being pampered and loved it.

This product did exactly as it was meant to do. I, have a large yellow lab,that developed sores on his body do to a yeast infection.the vet gave him some meds for the infection,and i was giving this product. I, was told to wash him 3 times a week until it clears up.,it took to bottles. I'm happy to say the infection is gone and his skin is clear

Got this on advice of vet for our new girl, who was cute but very itchy and had reddish, bare patches of skin. Diagnosis: Likely environmental allergies (weirdly, just like the spouse--dust mites etc! Maybe that's why he was drawn to her?). Vet warned us that the skin issues may be chronic. We've been using this weekly for about 5 weeks. So far, hair is regrowing and she's way less itchy. Though we also do not have carpeting or cats (can dogs be allergic to cat dander?), and perhaps less of whatever (else?) triggered her skin problem, so her improvement could be due to a combination of factors. But we're definitely going to continue using this shampoo for awhile to hopefully keep skin irritation at bay.

I bought this on Amazon thinking it was shampoo for itchy skin for dogs. It is actually for more serious skin problems so I didn't use it on my dog. I could not find the one for itchy skin on Amazon. Now I'm stuck with this one.

My Brittany Spaniel has to be shampooed once a week and this shampoo does the trick.This has helped her skin in a remarkable way.

The only products that wasn’t individually wrapped and leaked all over everything else. The cap was closed but the seal was pushed up in the cap. And didn’t look glued or maybe the product ruined the glue. I’m so upset this wasn’t just about 23$ That’s nothing! My poor baby is having a yeasty fit to this heat and this is what the vet suggested and now it won’t be a few more days to get him some relief. Not to mention the other stuff I ordered him has to be cleaned and may be ruined also. They need better packaging. If this is good enough vets recommend it and it’s 20+ for a small bottle of shampoo it deserves a better. As do the animals and the people that spare no expense to make their animals feel better.

This product is working great on my dogs coat!
