If the wiring is already done, super easy install. Remote is really handy and does what it's suppose to do. This thing for it's size REALLY kicks out the heat. Use caution when moving the air vents in front, the get hot! I have a 1000 sq ft. shop, insulated walls, open floor plan. I should have probably stepped up to the 10000 watt. But didn't want to over tax my main box wiring. This will work just fine. I have it pointing down to my work area were i work on cars. NIce and toasty and I have to remove my garage jacket to be comfortable. The first night I used it was 38 degrees out and raining. Heated up the shop to over 60 with in an hour. Please note though: as I just learned never having over head heat, you will need a ceiling fan reversed to blow up to circulate the warm air down to the lower surfaces. I just turned a portable fan on its side and placed it about a foot above the floor to blow the cold air off the concrete floor to circulate the warmth. When you don't, you can definitely raise your arm and feel the really warm up there and have cold air at your knees and feet. Also make sure you have adequate size wiring and a 40 AMP breaker. I have been using this for 2 months now in the damp Seattle area. I would not hesitate to buy this product again.

Works great, I have an oversized single stall with some insulation and a lot of leaks. Heats the air up pretty good, takes a little while to get everything in the garage up to temp but it's a hundred times better than the torpedo heater I was using. I was a little worried after reading the other reviews, haven't had any issues in the 30-40 hours I have ran it so far.

Installed in my 900 sq ft insulated shop. Works great!! Quiet as well!

Keeps my 700sqft garage comfortable on really cold days(-15 Degrees Fahrenheit to 20 Degrees Fahrenheit) and warm to hot fast 20 Degrees. Just wish the digital thermostat was more accurate. Well worth the money.

The heater worked fine last week. Came into the garage to turn it on today and the remote control will Let me adjust the temperature settings and try to turn the fan on and but nothing happens.

I gave this 5 stars only based on the step I made it to before returning to Amazon. The heater arrived on time and in good condition. Hookup is straight forward with very basic electrical skill. I never actually got to try it out because I didn't realize my older fuse style electrical panel wouldn't accept anymore circuits over 30amps (only accepts 1 ... used for my stove) and this heater uses 31amp at full power so unfortunately I had to return to Amazon and opt for the next model down (the 5000W).Let me share my knowledge though! This heater will require a 40amp circuit, which means at least 8 gauge wiring between the heater and your electrical panel, with a 40amp circuit breaker in your panel. Like I said earlier, if you have an older style fuse panel, this heater will NOT work.

I use this heater to heat my 10x12 workshopIt does a great job considering the low cost and the remote makes it easy to operateHowever the unit runs on 240 volts and therefore the wiring should be done by a qualified person

Not happy with it I installed it. The fan came on for about five minutes and then everything shut off. I think the computer went on it tested my power coming into it. It’s just fine. The heater just went dead.

Does the job with no fuss. It’s good value for the money
