NO GROUND WIRE
I’ve bought similar from other Low cost vendors, and their products We’re superior than Sunco. My main concern is with the “junction box”. It’s made of plastic, not metal. It barely large enough for wiring. It does NOT have a grounding wire, and since the box is plastic, it can’t be grounded. The light itself functions well, but the unit feels cheaper than other cheap brands I’ve purchased. With that said, at $10 a light, it’s hard to complain... but it can be better, because I’ve seen and purchased better at the same price point. Also, the color was spot-on as-advertised, so that’s a bonus as well. I had a single unit out of 12 that didn’t function (junction was good, led light fault), but again, at $10 per light, I can’t complain too much. They work excellent with an led dimmer switch as well. 3 stars from me. Get an actual metal junction box with ground, and I’ll up this to a solid 4.5 or 5.

They quit working
DO NOT BUY!!!I installed these March 2019 and was very happy with them. Unfortunately, after several months of use in my kitchen and living room, several of the lights stopped working properly. When I turn on one circuit with 4 lights on the switch, all the lights come on but 3 of them are very dim and then they will brighten at random times. When the switch is on dim, the three defective lights won't come on at all. When I turn the dimmer all the way up 3 of the 4 lights are still very dim. I have this issue on two separate circuits and 4 lights total.I tried to contact customer service about this and get a generic answering machine response on the phone. What good is the warranty if I can't contact the company???I would not buy these again and caution you do stay clear of this shady company.

Better Than Traditional Can Lights
I tested all 12 Sunco lights and they work as promised. I've installed 5 lights so far and the lights themselves are an easy install. More on installation later. I wanted to over light a den (12' x 15') and the 5 lights did exactly that. (See the photo for my design layout.) The 4000K makes for easy reading at full brightness. The circuit the lights are on is controlled by a Lutron Caseta smart dimmer making it easy to dim the lights when viewing my computer monitors. The 90 degree lighting (dispersion) angle is correct meaning the distance from ceiling to desk top is the radius of the lighting spread. Now onto installation issues. None of my comments are a fault of the Sunco lights, but be prepared. Cutting a 6" diameter hole in the ceiling can be a challenge. My recommendation, don't cut quite clear through. If you have blown-in insulation, some to a lot of it will fall out. More of it will fall out as you fish wire to power the lights. Hint, cut a piece of batt insulation about 12" square and push it and the 6" drywall disk into the hole to help contain the blown-in insulation. The junction boxes are small (seems true on all brands) so connecting 14-gauge wire in a daisy chain and being able to close the box is challenging. The Sunco lights may have challenges to install, but they're way easier than retrofit or old-work installation of traditional can lights. I look forward to the finished install of the other Sunco lights. Installation challenges? No so much.

One spoiled apple didn't ruin the barrel nor does one bad LED...
If you are too young to know the phrase, it means something wasn't perfect but didn't ruin the experience. I had one LED light that didn't work. It was the LED and not the driver. I contacted Sunco and was given a trouble shooting guide and was immediately replaced. My email was answered immediately and I received a new entire unit within 36 hours. I was impressed with the response time. They didn't require me to do anything. I would do business with this company again and I have purchased other LEDs. Installation was simple. I used a wire stripping and twisting tool that made the connections perfect every time. The connections were clean and secure If you are interested in saving install time, it is in the photo above. I used the 2 piece set of the orange and blue ones. It is not easy to get clean connections with more than 2 wires. It is a time saver. If you are buying LEDs, this company is the best to work with I have ever used. We are small business home renovators.

They stand behind their product!
Bought the 12 pack and was very excited....until they all started to fail.I have contacted the factory, it appears this is a common design flaw.We will see what the factory says about covering these at their cost. What concerns me is they are still selling this same model.... scary. UPDATE: I contacted the factory and to my suprise they said they are sending a full replacement of 12 LED lights. So far, so good. Hope those don't fail.UPDATE: Any company that still stands behind their product 100% is alright by me. Today I recieved a full box of replacement LED ceiling lights. All installed, working well. Thank you Sunco for supporting your customers. I will purchase from you again. 5 stars except for the first shipment that failed, otherwise awesome lights.

Very good quality , comes with black rings
By far the best ones I have bought till due date. The fact that you can change the ring to black cover, is great, these withstands the Canadian winter. 1 year and still going at -40 Celsius and plus 40 Celsius.
