out of the box, this product will impress you from the very moment you pick it up. The housing is very elegantly built and solid. No cheap plastic parts on the exterior it looks like a camera worthy of a much higher cost. All the components are secured with screws. But the real test is in setting it up...The instruction manual is very easy to read and concise. I work in the camera and surveillance field. So, I do know my way around cameras. But I decided to follow the instructions word for word and see if the average layperson would be able to install and operate this camera with no outside help or calls to support. I connected the camera to my router with the included cable (Very thoughtful). I then powered it on by installing the power adapter. The instructions read to download the phone app ISMCAM. launched the phone app and selected the option to scan my network for new devices. It found it quickly and It's on and viewable. WOW! I have never seen such an easy install. It took all but 10 minutes from unboxing to plugging it in and being able to view the camera on my phone.This company deserves high praises for ease of use and functionality. the manual is very descriptive. Actually, everything you need to get it working is on page 5 and 6. I will install this camera into my home network DVR system and give a technical review after using it a few days.

I am a 30 year IT professional and have installed dozens of these cameras. This could have been a great camera but the Video is not much better then the 1080p camera I was replacing. The vendor was very helpful but after trying every option possible they were unable to offer anything that could help resolve the video issue. It is washed out, not vivid at all and no possible way to correct it. They said it might be a bad camera. I didn't want to take a chance on another one and returned it and purchased another brand. If they resolved the video issues I would buy the camera again, it is a very well made, full function, professional camera.

I installed this 1080p IP security camera near my mother's front door so that she can answer the front door without getting up from her recliner. The diy installation was easy as long as you know how to drill a hole and plug in an extension cord up in the attic. The camera connects to internet via wifi or you can use an ethernet cable for better quality (like I did.) Install the app on your smartphone, type in your user name and password and you're all set. The two-way audio feature is great, you can take photos and video clips of whoever is at your front door and you can go back several hours or days depending on your micro sd card size. Data is rewritten on the micro sd card when it gets full so you never miss a thing. You can download photos and video clips and send them by email if needed. Daytime picture is colorful and clear and night vision is impeccable. Worth every penny for the security and information it provides!

Is that a nice lady with a kitty on my doorstep... or a bad guy with a baseball bat? On an overcast day or at night I can see clearly and tell them to come on in or inform them the police are on the way. My gal and I were both really surprised at how clear the audio from the speaker is.I used the ethernet cable to hook up the camera indoors first and set up the wifi. Didn't need the ethernet cable after that. I used an old camera power cable I had ran to the camera this one replaced. Worked immediately and didn't need to tweak anything at all. Really good instruction book but I hardly used it. The smart phone app works great.I've bought other Tonton equipment before and their support team was very helpful so I bought this with confidence. Glad to have it. Now I can tell the delivery guy to just sit the package on the porch without having to get my pants on!

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great camera. The picture quality is terrific, even at night. The two-way audio is outstanding. We have wireless cameras from other companies, and the audio delay time is horrible. This wireless Tonton camera is the best. We are considering replacing our other wireless cameras with the Tonton wireless camera brand. We purchased the wired Tonton security camera system in March. My husband easily installed all of the cameras. His only complaint with the wireless camera is that it does not swivel as easily as the wired Tonton cameras. I did have an issue with set-up, but I contacted Abby in customer support, and within minutes, my camera was online and working perfectly.

I installed the 2 cameras I bought and added both devices and another user was given access, good to this point. I attempted to configure the emailing of a photo of activity at my camera front door. This cannot be done without allowing less secure apps access to you google account. I am in the process of looking into workarounds. Since there is no support at the phone # given to get confirmation or other solutions.If I cannot use these cameras I will be very disappointed. I Spent many hours installing. Amazon support was terrible as well, over 1.5 hours on the phone and chat and they were not even clear who their associates were, who I talked to or even what issues were discussed, was hung up on once as well. Amazon will accept a return, but I don't suppose they will reimburse the $159 per camera that they would have charged me to install these units! Not much use unless you want to sit and watch the live feed.This is a common problem with Chinese, or Malaysian in this case, companies. I tried to determine the origin of this product on Amazon but it is not clear. It should be made clear!!
