Why would you want to walk on it? The only thing that comes to mind is (perhaps) is that you might want to lay it on your lawn (or parts of your lawn) to stop your dog / puppy digging holes in the turf. If that's the case, these wire panels would put a stop to the digging. Could you walk on them in that situation? I think not. It's quite a light gauge and would distort under repeated adult footfall, unless well pegged at edges (e.g. with tent pegs). A heavier gauge would cost more but it would stay flat (on a flat lawn) without pegging, which simplifies life a lot, not least because dogs do change their minds about which part of your lawn they really, really want to excavate. A mobile mesh is a good mesh: your dog won't agree of course, but that's the point.
