I had been meaning to get myself a Merkur Futur adjustable razor for a long time. I had seen quite a few YouTube videos, read about Merkur as a company, and with my habit of letting the beard grow during winters, I wanted this razor. Let me assure you, that the results with this razor are phenomenal. Load a good blade, take time preparing for the shave and let the Merkur do its job. It feels hefty in hand. The blade sits perfectly symmetrically. Depending on hair growth one can get an effective shave all the way from 1 up to 6. I have used it on all those settings, and the blade presentation changes very precisely with the adjustment given for the Merkur Futur. I am delighted to have this in my shaving collection. Every time I use it, I am reminded of what a good decision it was to get the Merkur Futur.
