Size:100g Our Henna powder is a 100% ppd chemical free pure natural plant based hair dye fresh from Henna City for natural hair colouring and a great alternative to synthetic dyes. It is antifungal with great antiseptic properties and acts as an anti dandruff treatment. Frequent use will leave clean healthy scalp and dandruff free hair. Our henna powder is triple sifted body art quality (BAQ) which means that it has been grounded finely making it so much easier to wash out of hair. Henna powder is also a deep colour conditioner enhancer and radiant red dye for dark hair leaving the most amazing gloss and shine. Great for dull, dry lacklustre hair. You will be left with shining beautiful hair. Remember there is no such thing as natural black or brown henna. It is a two way process with Indigo and other herbal powders to achieve various colour shades from light brown, copper to dark brown, jet black. Be aware that any instant coloured henna sold as natural henna is not chemical free. How much henna to use for hair length? (Please note this is approximate and is dependent on length and thickness hair i.e. short cropped hair can get away with using 50g). Short hair - 100g | Neck - 200g | Shoulder - 300g | Waist - 500g Henna Indigo - combined together for light brown or dark brown hair. Black Hair - two way process. Grey/White Hair will be coloured an orange red colour. Henna mixed with hibiscus and/or manjistha will give hair a different shade of red/burgundy red colour as opposed to orange-red.

Super awesome henna
I dyed my hair with henna for the first time and after extensive googling, I was still kind of afraid of the result I might get (sandy henna, too ginger, too red, stained face and stuff like that). I must say I am not disappointed with this product! The henna was super smooth and was easy to apply on hair. It didn't stain my skin at all! I took a shower when washing the henna out and my forehead, ears, and neck came out perfectly free from henna stains. It only stained my old, useless t-shirt, so be aware of what you are wearing when applying. :) absolutely will buy again. Btw, 1 package was enough on my long (bottom of the chest), medium width hair.

Be prepared
It's many years since I used henna and the first time that I've used this particular brand. I'm in my mid fifties and my hair is naturally dark brown but has become slightly porous. I left the product on for two hours, the minimum suggested time, and it is now a lovely shade of brownish-red. It looks and feels healthier than it has for some time. I managed to get the product everywhere during the applying and rinsing process and thought the following tips might help others avoid the same mistake.Assemble the following in the bathroom or wherever you intend to henna your hair:- Rubber gloves- A binliner to cover your clothing- Two dark coloured towels- Two cleaning cloths and a bottle of surface cleaner- Clingfilm- Face cream (optional)Mix the henna powder with your chosen product. I used tea, left the mixture for two hours, then put on my binliner and applied the thick paste to my hair. (I used the entire packet but would have gotten away with half a packet. My hair is neck length.) Splashes went everywhere and I used a cloth and some surface cleaner to wipe them away. I wrapped my hair in clingfilm, put face cream on so that any drips didn't discolour my face, and read for two hours. I then rinsed the product out, shampooed my hair and put the towels straight into the washing machine. I forgot to take out my earrings but got them back to their normal colour by washing them in soapy water! On a later application I lost the instructions and forgot to wear gloves, staining my palms a vibrant orange. I looked like I'd been Tangoed! I got the dye off by mixing olive oil with salt and exfoliating my hands. This remains my favourite hair product as it gives consistently good results.

this green henna powder's colour is so gorgeous it looks good enough to eat.
i've tried pure organic hair dye which made my hair fall out around my hairline. i should have done a patch test first. i also used henna hut for a couple of years. but it wasn't organic and the colour always looked dull. i also find it very difficult to mix.so i decided to try this one i was really apprehensive due to my experience with pure organics. its dyed my hair wonderful such beautiful auburn tones on my greys. it looks amazing and my hairline is still intact. it feels so soft i can't wait to use it again. oh! and it mixes easily and smoothly. the green henna colour is gorgeous i feel like i want to mix it in a smoothie or something. will definately be using this product again and again., the price is good too.i have afro carribean curly afro with peppery greys.

Love this stuff!
Decided that the time had come to cover up my grey hair. Being the first time I'd ever dyed my hair, I was a little apprehensive. However, the result couldn't have been better. Mixed 500g of the powder with orange juice and a bit of water to create a custard-like runny paste. Left the paste for approx 10 hours, stirring now and again, until it had turned a brownish colour. The mixture was lumpy at first but over time the lumps just stirred out. Applied to hair and left 2 hours, then washed off.Result: grey hairs turned a beautiful sparkling red colour, brown hair turned a rich mahogany-chestnut. Colour remains vibrant, have now purchased more as the greys are growing out. Highly recommend.

Great quality henna
I've been using henna to dye my hair for about 15 years. I used to buy my henna from an eBay seller, but after having my eBay/PayPal account hacked twice in the past year I have deleted my account!I'm delighted that the first seller I discovered on Amazon turned out to be excellent. I have lots of experience with henna powder and this is high quality stuff. It is fresh and has had nothing else added to it (I have seen powder before where dyed green sand has been sneakily added to it to make it appear fresher than it really is!).After mixing with lemon juice and leaving the dye to release for a couple of days, this henna produced a very vibrant colour. I have a short bob hairstyle and half of a 100g pack was more than enough. The packet is professionally sealed, which is great as henna can lose it's potency over time. Overall I would say it is worth spending a little bit extra to get this good quality powder.

Fabulous henna
OMG! It's the best henna ever! Super fine with a very vivid colour. I usually mix with lemon juice and water- but I didn't have any lemons so I used lemon essential oil (about 20 drops) & water. The dye release was pretty instant. I left it sit in a warm place and day and left the mixture on my hair overnight. The result is incredible!!I have dreadlocks and quite dark hair (it has darkened a lot in the last decade). It washed out of my dreads very easily and left them a vibrant mouth watering red, which will of course only get better in the coming days.Great henna- will definitely be buying more for the touch ups!

Really good
I ordered this henna as i was looking for a way to continue dying my hair with organic products. It arrived really quickly and the company emailed to check I got the delivery ok.Personally I prefer darker henna so I mixed it with coffee. The result was great. Dark red. Exactly what I was looking for. The hair texture after applying is great too.I'm giving it 4 stars for two reasons. The packaging was not clearly labelled so you couldn't read the ingredients directly, however they are available on the website. The other slight criticism is the powder is very fine and it tends to stick in blobs which makes it tricky to mix. I've found a way around it by breaking the blobs with a fork before mixing it.Otherwise it's excellent. Would definitely use this product again.
