This Dell laptop can't be beat for quality, speed and ease of setup.
This Dell computer is a major workhorse in my office. With 12 computers in the office, this machine surpasses the capability, speed, and storage of all the rest of the computers. I added a 1tb external for backups and additional space and it works great. I would definitely purchase from this dealer again. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I definitely wanted a computer with Windows 10 and I wanted the 16gb of onboard ram.

Good customer service
Computer arrived cosmetically very nice with a fast bootup and no bloat ware. Unfortunately, the battery was weak and only provided 2 hours of battery life. I contacted the seller, and they were quick to respond. Within a few days I received a new battery from Amazon. After a 15 min installation I was up and running with a battery proving 5+ hours of predicted run time. I would purchase a refurbished computer from LAPRO again.

Hardware Problems Developed Over Time
When the laptop worked, it worked well. But, starting about 2 months after purchase, it got harder and harder to power up. I'd press the power button longer and longer periods of time, over and over. Now it's gotten to the point where it takes me about 20 minutes to start up. Also, when I was conducting a zoom call last week, I moved the laptop a little so the camera could see me better and the laptop just turned off - and I was leading the zoom call!! This morning, after 20 minutes of frustration trying to power up the laptop, I moved the laptop from one of the bottom corners and it booted up. I thought to myself this is a short somewhere. I tested it by moving the bottom corner and the laptop turned off. I moved the bottom corner and it powered on again (as though I had pressed the power button). And, the period of time to return the laptop expired a month ago! Now I have to pay to get the hardware fixed. Finding a short can be expensive because it can be difficult to reproduce and ultimately identify. And, while they're looking for a short, I won't have a laptop for a couple of weeks. I will never buy this kind of laptop again!

Upgrade your battery for 30$
Edit 2: the battery ended up failing out of nowhere, so I ordered what I thought was a compatible battery, but it was larger and a different voltage. However I plugged it in and it works fine. As it turns out, the smaller battery is meant for laptops that have a hard drive installed, not an SSD, so you can freely upgrade to the larger 60W battery vs the stock 42W for only 30 bucks! Just buy it and remove a couple screws on the bottom, swap the battery (keep your cable) and you're all set!!I won't rehash too much what other reviews cover. It works well for what I bought it for, (mostly schoolwork).Windows 11 installed okay, but to update the dell drivers you will need to go to the dell website and download the tool. Windows won't do any of this for you. The laptop is no longer supported for continued updates, but there are no driver issues with the latest windows updates. Even if you don't update the drivers, which I assume many people haven't bothered, you probably won't notice. As far as battery, with power saver feature on, I've eeked out 6 hours of life, medium low screen brightness, only using Opera browser and nothing in background. As it turns out, screen brightness is in fact not what kills the battery, it's the processor. If the fan has to turn on because of intensive tasks, you can watch the battery % drop before your eyes.I know most people don't get this laptop for games, but at best it's only capable of visual novels. Even 2D action games it struggles like it's the early 2000's playing browser games. For fun I booted up a 3D game, Neon White, at lowest settings. From a full charge, it lasted an impressive 15 minutes, with a totally unplayable frame rate.At any rate, works well for school work. The backlit keyboard is nice. It's lightweight and very quiet. Screen quality is clear. The physical laptop came flawless for "used", but it's cheaper plastic and scratches pretty easy. Not really a concern for a basic basic workhorse.Edit: I managed 8 hours of battery after removing all possible bloat ware and just using the internet browser. Pretty impressive.
