First, this shipped quickly. If you’re looking for a swing set during this Covid spring where all swing sets are sold out, Amazon currently states it typically ships in 2-3 weeks. Ours shipped within a week and we had it within a week and a half. (It shipped from GA and we are in MN.)Bear in mind we’ve only had this up for a day, so can’t speak to the longevity. But we found it to be a great set.This took my husband maybe six hours to put together total, even with the “help” of a two-year-old. We did not have any missing parts (but we did have tons of screws and an extra bracket left over.) The directions were not crystal clear at times, and in fact there was a booklet and a leaflet in the box, both with instructions which sometimes contradicted one another. This didn’t seem like a big deal since anyone with the tools to build this kit will have enough know-how to navigate the vagueness.The drill bit provided is too short to reach all the way through the crossbeam. You will need your own drill bit.My husband did have to countersink the bolts that hold the A-frames to the crossbeam, as the ones provided are too short. This isn’t mentioned in the directions. However, the rest of the bolts provided (for the swing hangers) were of adequate length, and the whole swing hanger setup seemed revised compared to what older reviewers complained about. The swings attach with D-rings so it’s very easy to swap out if you have additional play equipment.My husband added a small crossbeam toward the top of each A-frame to make this a little easier to move. Assembled, it is extremely heavy. (We will not be anchoring it.)The play equipment itself appears to be heavy duty and good quality. The plastic is smooth without any sharp edges from plastic molds you sometimes see on cheap plastic products. The coating on the chains seems great. The trapeze and rings are only rated for 115 pounds, so keep this in mind if you have older or larger children. The swings are comfortable even for me, but flex/hug my two-year-old enough that he feels secure.We also bought a two-person glider (and glider hangers) separately, shown in photo (which is inexplicably, irreversibly upside down.)

This is our second Swing N Slide creation and we LOVE LOVE LOVE them. A few things of note for this one:The 3/8" drill bit that comes with it is NOT long enough to drill through a 4x6x12/16 pieces of lumber. When you buy your lumber, also buy a longer drill bit, at least 8 inches. I got a 16" one from Home Depot for about $12, unfortunately not on the same trip as the lumber.While the swings pictured are blue, ours came with a different style swing, with a green seat. This is an improvement as the blue ones we had on our old swing set, and the seat was always falling off of the chains.As is noted, the swing set comes with 3 sets of hangers and things that can be hung on it. Our trapeze bar also has a set of rings in it so I guess we can pick once we get to that point; we have to get another swing hanger set as the baby swing was a much higher priority for our 2yo than a set of rings.The price difference between a 12' and a 16' beam is minimal and as long as you have the space, is totally worth having an extra space for swinging things.I've researched swing sets for days and keep coming back to the Swing N Slide ones because they're simply the best! Next summer, we're going to build a playhouse using one of the other SNS models and leaving off the beam for the swings. I look forward to it (although not all that lumber cutting...)

It took my friend and I about 3 1/2 hours start to finish not working at an overly fast pace. Everything went together very well and the kit DOES include all the wood screws that you need as well as the rest of the hardware. My kit came with a drill bit as well but it wasn't long enough to drill all the way through the 4x6 support beam. There are also some lag screws that are used in the side support plates that require a t30 bit that was not supplied in my bag of parts. I don't know if the bit was missing or if it is not normally supplied. I noticed a couple misprints in the directions but they were common sense fixes. All things considered it was a great afternoon project that my son should enjoy for years.Tools I used:Drill/driver with 3/8 12" and a 1" spade bit (both mine) and misc. driver bits (had to use my own t30 for the lag screws other was included)Hammer13mm deep socketChannel lock pliersTape measureHand or circular saw. (only had to make 4 total cuts on 2x6).Materials:(4) 4x4" 8'(2) 2x6" 8'(1) 4x6" 12'The directions call for a 2x4 to make anchor spikes with but I just ripped the 2x6 scraps and used those.*I wouldn't recommend building this alone. There are times when it would have been extremely difficult to get things lined up and bolted together without someone helping. Not to mention that this thing is solid and heavy*
