This is a useful survival item. I've tested most of the functions and they all work: AM/FM radio, flashlight, and also the battery and hand crank charger, I have not tested the solar charger due to recent local weather. It seems to be well made. It is amazing they can put all this together so inexpensively. I would give it 5 stars but there are two small things to be aware of:1) You can only charge a cell phone while you are cranking the hand crank - it does not charge the cell phone from its internal battery or the AAA batteries. (I'm not sure about the solar charger.)2) The instructions are hard to follow and they mislabel the on/off switch. But if you are patient you can figure it out.

To start the radio on this thing is terrible. The knob is so small it's impossible to actually land on tje channel you're aiming for. That's if it will even find the channel without fiddling with the knob in some other way.The solar, crank amd USB micro charging work great and the flashlight is bright amd handy.I imagime the playback from USB probably works fine, I havent tried it.If you want a bulky flashlight this is great, if you want a radio; I recommend you keep looking.

I have tried the crank and it seems to work decently. The flashlight is bright! It remains to be seen about the solar panels. This is the good. The band selector seems a little suspect to me and I am treating it with kid gloves. The sound from this speaker is tinny and weak but I expected the from a small radio. The worst drawback is the tuning. Especially on am. It took me awhile to get the strongest am station in Minnesota (WCCO) to rune in. This being said I don't imagine that I will be tuning the radio to other stations now that I have the predominant news and weather station tuned in. This is not a NOAH weather radio which would have been nice. My sole purpose of buying this was an emergency radio in the event of a blackout during a storm.

This item was so affordable and offers so very much! AM/FM radio, flashlight, and even charging for your mobile device! It has crank and solar charging/power options. It is small, lightweight and convenient. Offers great piece of mind just in case of emergency. A very inexpensive way to keep something JUST IN CASE. I highly recommend this product especially for emergency prep.

I have been using this item since I got it. Holds a good charge, radio works well, easy to handle and great in times without power. I like to sit outside a lot and have been using this to listen to the radio. Good sound and good battery life. The antenna (included) makes reception good. I will likely buy more of these. Highly recommended!

The handcrank was easy to use, and within the 120 recommended cranks, we were able to find our local radio station and fuss around the dials to listen for a half hour before shutting it down to charge it.. Good sound quality for a light little thing. The LED light was nice and bright and it worked well. It'll be useful in our emergency car kit.
