When Art Meets Design

My first impression of this book was that the cover photo alone was worth the price of the book. I had that same reaction to numerous other pages. Anyone who is studying design or interested in design would love this book. Hunt Slonem uses some colors which I never would have thought would work together, but in his hands, they wind up looking amazing together. I'll continue to thumb through this book anytime I need design inspiration.

Another beautiful book by Hunt Slonem showing the fabulous fabric, wall coverings and rugs Lee Joffa has made using paintings by this remarkable artist. How lucky we are to have the benefit of Solnem's genius.

This book is fabulous, and was beyond my expectations. I saw the article in House Beautiful, and immediately ordered the book. As a lover of saturated colors, I am so inspired.

Of all the design coffee table books I have, and that number is high, this is the most gorgeous. If you love color you will love this book. Absolutely luscious!
