Gentex 50-9010079001M Short Windshield Mirror Plastic Wire Cover, Black

I got the longer version first but it was too long for my 2016 4Runner and I kind of tore it up trying to trim in down, so I got this short version and it works like a charm. The result looks factory original.

Way too small, this will not fit a 2002 Chevy avalanche.

product works as expected, hide the wire from the header to the mirror. Expands to a perfect fit.

Perfect extendable length for my MK4 VW Golf with an aftermarket Gentex mirror. Allowed me to hide the wire that goes from the mirror into the headliner, stretching from the mirror mount to the headliner itself. Definitely do NOT need the long one. My car rides rough and the roads are filled with imperfections around my area, and it hasn't even shown signs of trying to fall off.

Exactly as described. I had to trim about 1/2 an inch off the expansion to make this work but I knew that when I ordered the product since this was the shortest available. The modificstion did not affect the preformance. It still looks like a professional installation.

What's there to say? It covers up the wires, stays in position just fine, and is mostly invisible because the mirror blocks my view of it.Be advised, if you don't have a tint strip at the top of your windshield, you'll be able to see the wires as this cover doesn't have a back piece.
