I use this light to shoot short videos and the results are great every time. The light is soft but bright enough, and the skin tones look very natural. The most important thing is that the height is just right, so I don’t have to buy a tripod and fill light separately, which saves money and space, which is great!

Perfect for working from home! High quality and a great price. The flat base on this stand is exactly what I was looking for - it doesnt take up much room on my desk and fits nicely behind my laptop’s stand, and I can keep items on top of the base. It’s much easier to keep on my desk compared to a tripod ring light (which I used to have and hated). The height is adjustable and tall enough to sit right above my laptop’s webcam, even with my laptop on a raised stand. It has adjustable brightness and adjustable light colors - I like the natural light setting (not too cool or warm) with medium brightness for virtual meetings. I sit in front of a huge bay window and this helps provide more even lighting on calls so i dont look washed out. I also have blackout curtains and it lights up the whole room on max brightness. It’s sturdy and easy to adjust the lighting angle as well. The bluetooth camera remote has also come in handy!

Let me start by saying the one good thing about this stand - the base is metal, durable, padded on the bottom, and quite stable.Now for the negative - the light attachment point and the phone mount are both made of cheap, brittle plastic. The phone mount was poorly made. In my first attempt to expand the phone clip to mount my phone, one side broke off with minimal pressure (see photo). To securely place the light on the stand, you have to apply pressure and push it down. However, the plastic mount cannot slide down far and the security screw does little to tighten its hold on the stand. Any adjustment to the angle of the light is likely to result in it popping off the stand - which it did twice during my initial setup.While the pictures looked promising, the actual product was disappointing.
