My 7 year old loves this!!!! It is amazing and will really work well for our upcoming trip. I bought some sound level protective wired earphones to go with it, but it also has the ability for the parent to set a protective volume level in the device itself. It is an amazing value for the money once you figure out all that you can get with it. We also got the Bible reading from Kaleidoscope which are amazing. She also loves the Boxcar Children that we ordered separately and the Beatbox Card that comes with this starter set. We homeschool and it is great for filling in some time gaps while I need to do other things too. The creators seem more interested in children than money... a rare thing to find these days.

8 Year Granddaughter loves it.

This Yoto has been so fun. I got it for my nine year old daughter that didn’t seem to love reading. This was the encouragement she needed! She listens every day and loves going to the library for new stories. All my kids sit around it every morning listening to the daily podcast.

Have an 8 year old that does not like disconnecting but he loves the 5 minute yoto stories. Highly recommend. It is compact and yoy can get lots more from the app. We did the subscription to get access to more content. You just buy the cards or make your cards for on the go but once you have the app, you can play everything also from your phone or tablet too.
