Excellent Windows hello webcam for the price
I purchased this to use the Windows Hello feature and for that it works great no issues. I have a built-in 1080 webcam on the labtop and I would say this is as good or better I founf it very clear image and I like the fact it also has a privacy lens cover. Best of all the price, serch for a name brand Windows Hello webcam you will be paying a lot more.

Windows Hello Camera
Purchased for the Windows hello sign up. The setup was very easy and was doing recognitions soon after that. This one is the 2k version. The readings were far more accurate at the base of the monitor instead of the top frame, so it stays at the base for less headaches. Would have bought the 4k version, but stayed with the 2k version because it was unknown how long it would take to scan all of the wrinkles on the old man's mug. Trust me there is more than enough to scan and gets more by the month. Take care everyone and please be safe.

Good camera.
Take your picture for setup at the right distance in the right light. Then remember where you were and it works like a charm for log in. The camera itself tdd akes clear video and pictures. I like it.

Nice little webcam for the price.
Works great. Windows hello works as it should. Webcam picture quality is acceptable. To be honest, if you’re looking for a webcam with excellent image quality, you would need to purchase a 4k webcam but they are quite pricey. These lower priced webcams work well but don’t expect top quality picture or video.

Seems to work so far
Once I found out how to set up the camera and get it working, I was happy with the results. The image is good enough for the Windows Hello Face Recognition to work and that's the real reason for my purchasing of this item. Now the negative..The camera works using the usb C adaptor that was included with the package. However, there's way too much pixelation when it is being used on my laptop anyway. I currently am using only the regular usb to usb C cable that was included as well. I find that cable about 1 foot too long, so I have ordered a replacement to use instead. All in all, I am happy with the item so far and do recommend it to others.Update: The camera does still work but I have found out that in order for the Windows Hello Face Recognition to work, there needs to be light in the background. That feature doesn't work with this camera in a dark room. If someone know a workaround please let me know.

Updated Review--1st try defective--2nd works well--good company outreach too
I was eager to get this, but it didn't work out of the box. I gave it a 1-star review, returned it, and opted for a replacement instead of a refund. The replacement arrived in just 2 days, and this one worked perfectly. Windows ID'd it at once, Windows Hello processed my image and it's working exactly as advertised. The video is high quality. To the company's credit, they wrote to me after my earlier negative review and offered a replacement for free, but I'd already gotten one gratis from Amazon. Despite the initial failure, the company's outreach and the highly satisfactory replacement merits a 5-star review.

Very small, designed for a laptop or notebook.
This is a tiny webcam designed for a notebook or laptop. In order for it to unlock Windows, your face has to be close. So it's not really suitable to be used mounted on the top of a PC monitor unless you move your head in close while it scans. Forget sitting in a chair and looking up to it. Won't unlock.
