Quite often we order tools online only to be disappointed due to their poor craftsmanship and quality, definitely not the case with this one though, this tool is very well designed and put together, it's good to know that there is still individuals out there that take precision to heart.

This vise is perfect for drilling small parts that can't seem to fit in other vises. I am easily able to drill even odd shapes with the accessories included and hold them tightly. It works best with the ArrowMax drill press.

Bought this to go with the Arrowmax drill and drill press stand. For the money, this appears to be a well machined piece. The only issue is that it is so large that when attached to the drill stand (the magnets work as advertised), there’s very little clearance between the end of the drill bit and the vise, which can limit its effective application. It’s not really a problem with the vice as much as a problem with the overall design tolerances of the drill, drill press stand, and the vice. Great idea, just left a little on the table in the combined application.

This vice is very well made. The only thing I'd like better is a metal knob.

The media could not be loaded. I’m occasionally working on small metal, plastic, and wooden parts for various projects. The work may include drilling small holes, rounding corners, engraving, carving, scraping, or even making custom parts for some of my machinery I’m maintaining or rebuilding. I do have a number of tools for that work except for a small vise. My larger vises are usually very cumbersome to use with small parts so it could be a real challenge. Finally, I decided to get a good small vise that I can use to hold small parts. Better yet, my daughter is getting more into crafts and is very interested in a vise like that too. After seeing this little vise, I decided to order it and give it a try. After receiving the vise, I was very impressed with the quality of it. It was machined perfectly; I could not find any defects or even minor scratches. The mechanism works accurately and smoothly. I didn’t feel slack at all. Another great thing I liked about this particular vise is the clamping mechanism consisting of a few built-in magnets. I do not need to think about how to mount or clamp it to the workbench. I just need a flat piece of metal to throw it on and that is it! Good thing that I already have a couple of welding table and a few more for some of my machines. I was even able to install it on my large metal vise. Yet another good feature is that it has removable plastic caps that could be easily mounted on the jaws with the included screws. It is great for clamping delicate pieces. There are also additional magnets included with the vise that I believe could be used to make a custom connection plate for the vise. There are even some plastic cylinders that can be mounted on the top or on the side of the jaws. Those could be helpful in holding some larger delicate objects. I think I should be able to use it for clamping watches as well. Up to now, I’ve been using just a simple block included with my watch repair toolkit, but this vise is a good upgrade to it. Finally, the coating on the vise appears to be of high quality too. The clamping mechanism provides sufficient pressure to hold smaller parts. I made a video showing how it can be configured and how it works holding some really small and larger metal parts. I then tried clamping a small piece of wood in the vise and was able to carve it with one of my smaller gouges. It worked well for that too. I just can’t be happier with this little vise and would recommend it to anyone working with small parts.
