Takes a little bit to learn, but powerful and works amazing. Can connect as a webcam to pc.
This thing is really cool. It takes a little bit to learn to do more advance things, but I was able to quickly get up a 3 and 4 source and straight to an output hdmi monitor while simultaneously send the signal to OBS on a streaming pc to do a live test. The hdmi inputs are 1080p60 and look clear.The build quality of the controller is good. I wish there was a cap that you can put on the SDI ports so they aren't just sticking out. I like that it's there, but for my use the SDI really isn't needed. The fan is also quite noticeable, though you can change it in settings to not activate as much, but I found it still ran enough to be heard constantly. I wish the unit was heavier, or at least had mount points on it so you can mount it easily without using something like double sided tape.There's a lot of buttons and they do eventually make sense, but I suggest practicing with the device. The upper left is all audio inputs, which is neat. The mic ports sound good, and there is a status screen where you can monitor your levels.Overall the device has a lot of functionality and is easy to start to use, but can get more complex if needed. It's quite potent for what it does. It's price in line with some other competitors such as the Blackmagic Atem Mini. It seems a decent value, though it is still quite pricey at nearly $400.
