I received this product well packed. After taking the plastic film that was used to secure it off, I was able to open the watercolour journal. The front and back covers are really nice and green. I like how the corners are rounded as it ensures that the pages wont bend and wont pierce through or poke through your bag. The journal pages are very thick and true to the quality and thickness that the listing claims it to be. I really like the bookmark you get, too, as it allows you to quickly get back to the last page you worked on. The book does sort of close when you try to open it fully and paint on it so it would be handy to have a clip that can hold the pages open. There is also a pocket at the pack which allows you to put loose pages or other items in there when you are out and about which I think is really thoughtful and handy.When it comes to the quality of paper when using watercolours, the paint does not leak through and the pages are thick enough to handle multiple layers of paint and water. The pages also do not bend. They also seem to work well with acrylics and oil pastels. I have not tested other mediums out other than the ones I mentioned.All in all, a nice journal to use. It is a reasonable size as it is not too small or too big. You can also use it at home and store it without it taking up too much space. Price wise, watercolour pads and journals are usually quite costly so I will say the price is reasonable for what you get considering that the journal should last you at least a month or more if you paint everyday!
