I bought this for a friend, she loves owls... the red eyes happened to be her birthstone. Unfortunately her house burnt down a few weeks ago, but no worries for this owl! It made it through the fire and cleaned up nice. She enjoys the owl and was glad her new gift made it through the disaster.I think it made a wonderful gift and proved to be more than just cheap little stash box. It was thick and sturdy enough to survive the blaze.

This is a cute little box. I am sending it to someone who likes owls. I am sure she will love it.

OK so I love this! For how cheap it was I was impressed with how pretty it is. My only issue is that the rim is chipped and that that's very disappointing. It was actually packaged perfectly and the chipped piece is not in the packaging which means it was chipped BEFORE they boxed it up and sent it to me. I don't have time to return it as it's a gift so I hope grandma doesn't mind a little flawed owl. lol

Cute little owl. Very well designed and decorated. Didn't look "cheap". Bought it as a gift for my Mother's best friend but she decided it wasn't what she wanted so we returned it. But if I needed a nice, small gift for someone, this would be on the list.

I gave this as a gift to my 9 year old niece who is really into owls. She also collects jewelry and I thought it was a cute little case where she could keep rings, etc. and it has a detailed, fancy owl on it which she did really like when I gave it to her for Christmas. I'm happy with the purchase.

I love this box. I purchased it for my niece, who went to Temple University and she loves owls (the school mascot). It is adorable, and I think she will really like it. It came just a few days after I purchased it, and I think it is really cute. You can't really see all the little stones on it in this picture, but they really add to the overall look of the box.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my mother in law who is terminally ill and loves owls. All of her children are flying in from out of town to do Christmas early this weekend as it will likely be her last and this is when we could all get together. Anyway, it's broken. It came broken in the package and the way it's packed in styrofoam there's NO WAY whoever packed it didn't notice. There is a large chunk missing from the rim of the lid. Otherwise, yes, it's cute. Whoopdy doo. I will be contacting the seller regarding a return but it would be impossible for it to be here by the 17th which is when I needed it for so basically this was a waste of time. Super disappointed.

It indeed was a cute piece and was intent to be a present. There is a bit of rough edge but the cuteness and functionality outweigh that for sure; at least the receiver loves this present so far.

When reading StealStreet silver and bronze owl, it's not what you think, it's made of a sort of clay product and the rim around where the top fits in was already broken, not sturdy at all, very fragile. It's cute, but that's it.

Cheaper looking in real life, but my owl lover liked it.
