Loud for small speakers - not much bass but ok considering.

They work after I fixed them.
They are now doing the job of giving a PC some sounds. They didn't work when they arrived. Luckily I'm an electronics engineer and not afraid to have a go at getting them working. I could see that one of the speakers was not seated properly in its casing. Undid the screws and reseated it and stopped the wires shorting out. Shouldn't have to do this really.

Faulty USB
Be wary that it needs a power supply via the USB cable, which is very inconvenient. Furthermore, in my case, the USB port is temperamental. Low quality sound, but that is to be expected for such a cheap product.I bought this for a keyboard. I wouldn't bother using it for a laptop as it is no better than the built in sound system.
